Fri, 17th Oct 2025

Gallagher Security Australia has made three appointments to its New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory team.

Nathan Walters has joined the organisation as Senior Business Development Manager for NSW and ACT, while Andrew Myssonski and Greg Lawrence have taken on roles as Technical Account Managers for the same regions.

Management perspective

Craig Schutte, Executive Vice President for APAC and IMEA, expressed confidence in the appointments and what they will mean for Gallagher's operations in NSW and ACT.

"The unique strengths and experience they bring to their roles will help Gallagher continue to grow its presence and help to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers and partners in NSW and ACT," says Craig.

Scott Johnstone, National Sales Manager, provided further insight into the backgrounds of the new appointees and their expected contributions to the team.

Nathan Walters' focus

Nathan Walters brings more than 15 years of experience in the security industry. His background covers manufacturing and research and development, customer service, and large-scale system consultation. Scott Johnstone emphasised the value Nathan's technical expertise and commercial acumen will bring to Gallagher Security.

"Based in Sydney, Nathan will focus on driving strategic growth, building new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with Channel Partners and industry influencers," says Scott.

Technical Account Managers

Andrew Myssonski, based in Canberra, and Greg Lawrence both join as Technical Account Managers and will be responsible for technical support for Gallagher's customers and partners across NSW and ACT.

Commenting on Andrew Myssonski's experience, Scott Johnstone highlighted his past roles and suitability for the region.

"Andrew, based in Canberra, brings a strong foundation in physical security and enterprise technology, with previous roles including Solution Architect at the Department of Parliamentary Services and technical leadership positions at Wormald Security and CIC Technology," says Scott.
"His deep regional knowledge and passion for technical excellence will be instrumental in supporting Gallagher's partners and customers."

Scott Johnstone also acknowledged Greg Lawrence's experience and existing familiarity with Gallagher's products.

"We're pleased to welcome Greg to Gallagher. He has phenomenal experience and a deep understanding of the security industry, and with strong connections in New South Wales, he's well-positioned to make an impact," says Scott.
"He has a proven ability to take a project from infancy through to completion, and we're confident he will contribute strongly. He's already familiar with our products, which will help him hit the ground running."

Team expansion

Scott Johnstone described the appointments as part of a broader phase of regional expansion for Gallagher Security in Australia.

"We're pleased to welcome Nathan, Andrew, and Greg to the Gallagher team. These appointments mark an exciting chapter for Gallagher Australia as it continues to expand its footprint and deliver innovative, customer-focused security solutions.
"Our regional teams continue to demonstrate exceptional capability, positioning us to deliver even greater value to our customers through our award-winning solutions."

The three new appointments are intended to strengthen the company's customer support, technical capability, and presence in what are identified as key regions for Gallagher Security.
