Gallagher Security has appointed Brad Sheen as Enterprise & Consultant Manager for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, expanding its team in two of Australia's largest security markets.

Sheen joins the business with more than 20 years of experience in the electronic security sector. His background includes enterprise sales, business development, access control and integrated security systems.

He will lead engagement with enterprise customers and consultant networks across NSW and the ACT, and support growth in sectors including data centres, critical infrastructure, commercial property, government, utilities and major enterprise accounts.

The appointment comes as Gallagher seeks to deepen its presence in both jurisdictions and strengthen support for customers across the full project cycle, from consulting and design to deployment and ongoing account management.

David Issa, State Manager - NSW & ACT, said the hire forms part of a broader regional growth effort.

"Brad joins Gallagher with more than two decades of experience across the electronic security industry and an exceptional reputation for building trusted relationships across consultants, end users and channel partners," said Issa.

Issa said Sheen's knowledge of the NSW and ACT markets would also support the company's expansion.

"Brad's deep understanding of the NSW and ACT markets, combined with his extensive industry network and customer-first approach, makes him ideally positioned to support our growth as we continue to expand our presence across these important states," he said.

Regional focus

Gallagher is targeting demand from larger organisations and infrastructure-heavy sectors, where procurement often involves consultants, long project timelines and multi-stage deployment. By assigning a dedicated manager to enterprise accounts and consultant relationships, the company is placing greater emphasis on early engagement in project planning and specification work.

This is particularly relevant in markets such as government, utilities and commercial property, where security suppliers often work through a chain of advisers, contractors and channel partners before systems are selected and installed. A role focused on both enterprise customers and consultants can therefore influence not only direct sales discussions, but also how products are considered at the design stage.

Issa said the hire also reflects how Gallagher wants to position itself in NSW and the ACT as those markets develop.

"As the NSW and ACT markets evolve, having experienced industry leaders like Brad on our team ensures we remain well positioned to support our end users, grow our market presence, and deliver long-term value across the sectors we serve," he said.

Industry experience

Sheen's career has included work across customer engagement, channel relationships and security solution sales. Over that time, he has built relationships with consultants, end users and channel partners, a network likely to be relevant in a role centred on enterprise and advisory engagement.

His appointment also reflects the importance of state-level leadership in the Australian security market, where demand patterns can vary across sectors and jurisdictions. In NSW and the ACT, government agencies, commercial landlords, infrastructure operators and data centre operators make up a significant pool of potential buyers for integrated access control and security systems.

Sheen said the move was a logical next step in his career.

"Gallagher has established itself as one of the most respected and innovative brands within the global security industry," said Brad Sheen, Enterprise & Consultant Manager, NSW & ACT, Gallagher Security.

"The organisation's strong customer focus, commitment to innovation, and momentum in the Australian market made this a compelling opportunity. I'm excited to join the team and work alongside our end users, consultants and channel partners to help deliver security solutions that create real value," he said.
