Tim Clayton joins Gallagher Security as Senior BDM for SA/NT
Global security manufacturer, Gallagher Security has confirmed the appointment of Tim Clayton for their newly created role of Senior Business Development Manager (BDM) for South Australia and Northern Territory (SA/NT).
Tim Clayton expressed his high expectations for the new challenge ahead. "What I'm looking forward to most is the people - Gallagher staff and especially our customers and Channel Partners. Listening to what they have to say and establishing strong, high-value relationships with them," he said. His new post has come into effect since April 1, 2024.
This appointment is seen as a big step forward in a successful structural redesign following earlier internal promotions. In particular, the promotion of George Dunleavy to Sales Manager SA/NT in January was instrumental in this development. This reconfiguration brings the SA/NT team up to full strength to advance regional objectives and plans for 2024.
George Dunleavy, the Sales Manager for SA/NT, stated his excitement with the selection. "Throughout this recruitment process we have been focused on finding the best candidate for the role. Tim's combination of an immensely personable manner, commitment to high-quality customer service, and drive to deliver the best possible outcomes for his clients make him an ideal fit. We're extremely excited to have him on board."
Tim Clayton brings in a rich experience and extensive knowledge of the South Australian business community and its workings. His sterling reputation of 10 years in the sector, generating consistent high-value recurrent sales with major firms, is a remarkable asset to the team.
As expressed by George, "'Having Tim on board enables us to ensure we're meeting the demands and expectations that new projects bring, whilst proactively targeting future opportunities and prospective clients without detriment to the excellence in customer service and Channel Partner engagement that the SA/NT team has become known for."
Tim Clayton's appointment reflects Gallagher's growth strategy, tapping into the increasing demand for their solutions in SA/NT region. The role had a high volume of applicants, underlining its appeal and the significance of the selection.
Craig Schutte, Gallagher Security's Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific and India, Middle East, and Africa (APAC and IMEA), added his voice to the congratulations. "Tim stood out in a shortlist of impressive and competitive candidates due to his breadth of experience and business acumen. We are excited to welcome him on board and know he will be an asset to Gallagher's strong, high performing SA/NT team."
With significant projects underway, and more on the horizon in the region, Tim Clayton's recruitment allows the team to energetically move forward with 'renewed energy and a broader perspective', as per George Dunleavy's optimistic assessmnet.
