Logicalis wins Microsoft Frontier Partner, Copilot status

Logicalis has obtained Microsoft Frontier Partner status alongside a Microsoft Copilot specialisation.
The designation adds to Logicalis' standing within Microsoft's partner network as demand rises for advisory and delivery work tied to artificial intelligence adoption in large organisations.
Logicalis said the Frontier Partner designation recognises its work across Copilot, data and AI, security, and cloud transformation. The Copilot specialisation acknowledges its ability to assess readiness, secure deployments, support adoption, and extend Microsoft's Copilot tools through Copilot Studio and agents.
Operating in 30 territories and reporting annualised revenue of USD $1.7 billion, Logicalis is seeking to position itself for a market in which customers are shifting from AI trials to broader use across business operations. Its work with customers has focused on reducing time spent on repetitive tasks such as meetings, emails, and document creation, while improving access to insights for decision-making.
Robert Bailkoski, Global Chief Executive Officer of Logicalis, linked the development to the wider shift in enterprise technology spending.
"The next wave of enterprise transformation will be defined by organisations that can turn AI ambition into secure, measurable business impact. Achieving Microsoft Frontier Partner status, alongside our Copilot specialisation, positions Logicalis to help customers globally accelerate that shift with the confidence, governance and scale required to succeed," said Bailkoski.
Microsoft ties
For Logicalis, the designation also deepens its relationship with Microsoft commercially. Frontier Partner status brings enhanced co-sell opportunities, closer field alignment, and access to strategic programmes and investments.
That matters in a market where service providers are competing for a larger share of spending on Microsoft 365, Azure, cyber security, and AI-related deployment work. Microsoft partner badges and specialisations have become a way for resellers, integrators, and managed service providers to distinguish themselves in those contests.
Anita Swann, Vice-President, Global Alliances at Logicalis, placed the recognition alongside the group's wider Microsoft credentials.
"As we begin Microsoft's FY27 financial year, Logicalis is launching from a position of strength: 12 Microsoft Advanced Specialisations, the Microsoft Frontier Partner badge and our continued Azure Expert MSP status. These achievements reflect the depth of technical capability we have built across the Microsoft stack, from secure data foundations and governance to Copilot Studio, agents and enterprise-scale adoption," said Swann.
Regional push
In Australia and New Zealand, the announcement is likely to sharpen competition among IT services firms seeking to advise companies on AI governance, workplace software deployment, and cloud migration. Local customers have faced pressure to move beyond experimentation while managing data security, regulatory scrutiny, and questions over return on investment.
Logicalis said the expanded Microsoft alignment would give customers in the region deeper access to Microsoft programmes, technical support, and earlier exposure to new products and services. It would also help clients build data foundations, strengthen security, and widen use of Microsoft 365 Copilot across day-to-day processes.
Lisa Fortey, General Manager, Logicalis ANZ, said the status was significant for the regional business and its customer base.
"Achieving Microsoft Frontier Partner status is a significant milestone for our business and, more importantly, for our customers across Australia and New Zealand. It reflects the investment we've made in building deep Microsoft expertise and reinforces our ability to help organisations adopt AI with confidence.
"Together with Microsoft, we're enabling customers to move beyond isolated AI pilots and into enterprise-wide transformation by combining secure data foundations, strong governance and practical AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. As demand for AI continues to accelerate, we're excited to help our customers unlock new levels of productivity, innovation and competitive advantage," said Fortey.
The company employs more than 7,000 staff and supports more than 10,000 clients worldwide, giving it a sizeable base from which to market consulting, managed services, and implementation work tied to Microsoft's AI products. Its business spans cloud, connectivity, collaboration, and security, areas that increasingly overlap as customers look to roll out AI tools inside existing technology estates.
Across the services market, vendors and partners have been racing to frame AI as part of mainstream business software rather than a stand-alone experiment. In that context, recognitions such as Frontier Partner status and Copilot specialisation can help service providers show they have met vendor criteria around skills, deployment experience, and customer outcomes.
Logicalis said its approach combines strategy, governance, secure data foundations, and managed cloud services as organisations move towards repeatable use of AI across people, processes, and customer engagement.
