Lenovo unveils hybrid AI solution in partnership with NVIDIA

Today

Lenovo has introduced the Hybrid AI Advantage alongside NVIDIA, which aims to improve business outcomes by facilitating faster and more efficient data processing and intelligence deployment.

At the recent Lenovo Tech World, Yuanqing Yang, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo, presented the Hybrid AI Advantage during a keynote address delivered with Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA. The collaboration between Lenovo and NVIDIA seeks to extend hybrid AI capabilities and create tailored generative AI agents using enterprise data.

The solution emerges at a critical time for businesses focused on utilising AI to meet their unique challenges. Based on Lenovo's survey, 61% of Chief Information Officers find it challenging to showcase the return on investment from their AI ventures. The Hybrid AI Advantage purports to furnish clients with pre-validated solutions for more efficient AI deployment.

Yuanqing Yang stated: "Delivering Hybrid AI requires leveraging a purpose-built portfolio and AI services expertise that simplifies the path to AI and enables real-world applications for businesses.

"Our collaboration with NVIDIA brings together the best of both companies to ensure rapid and reliable AI outcomes for businesses across industries. Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage with NVIDIA helps customers achieve outcomes faster by enabling their people to access relevant intelligence across personal, enterprise and public AI platforms."

He further explained that the solution's purpose is to simplify the deployment process and provide relevant intelligence, thereby helping organisations to improve decision-making, optimise processes, and enhance productivity.

Jensen Huang added: "AI is reinventing computing and accelerating businesses and industries globally. Lenovo and NVIDIA's collaboration is revolutionising enterprise computing, helping transform companies into platforms of AI agents and digital intelligence that drive incredible speed, innovation, and productivity."

The Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage integrates full-stack AI capabilities optimised for industrialisation and includes an array of ready-to-customise AI use-case solutions. These allow clients to overcome the barriers to achieving an ROI from AI deployments.

Among the announced solutions is 'Lenovo AI Fast Start', which aids organisations in demonstrating business value of AI use cases across personal, enterprise, and public AI platforms in a matter of weeks. Using NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, including microservices and AI agent-building tools, clients can access AI assets and expertise to swiftly develop generative AI solutions tailored to their unique requirements.

The Lenovo AI Library provides AI use case accelerators across domains such as marketing, IT operations, legal, and customer service. It helps speed deployment and amplify AI outcomes. Lenovo and NVIDIA also plan to build customisable functional and vertical AI solution accelerators on the NVIDIA AI Enterprise platform.

Supporting companies grappling with technology debt, Lenovo offers the Data and Tech Foundations for AI service to gauge platform readiness and advise on modernisation actions to maximise value from data and technological investments.

To resolve the energy demands of scaling AI capabilities, Lenovo's AI infrastructure, including the Lenovo Neptune Liquid Cooling system, supports energy efficiency while processing heavy data loads. This expansion is part of Lenovo's broader goal of enabling better computing performance that efficiently powers the NVIDIA Blackwell platform.

The introduction of Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage with NVIDIA significantly changes AI deployment strategies for businesses globally, assisting them in accessing pertinent intelligence, thereby enabling smarter decision-making and operational optimisation.
