Gallagher Security to host Tasmania forum in Hobart
Gallagher Security plans to hold a Tasmania Security Forum in Hobart in March as the first of its stakeholder events in Australia for the year.
The company said the forum will target Channel Partners, end users and consultants. It described the event as free to attend.
Neil Jarvis, Sales Manager for Victoria and Tasmania, will present at the forum alongside Dean Matheson, National Technical Manager, and Ashley Gardiner, Technical Account Manager - Victoria and Tasmania.
Jarvis said the company expects the event to draw together security professionals in Tasmania.

Agenda focus
Gallagher Security said the agenda will cover updates to its Command Centre platform. It said the agenda will include product and feature information that it expects to release in future.
"This forum is an opportunity for our industry colleagues to find out what's new, the products and features set for future release, and how Gallagher can help them achieve both their security and business goals." said Jarvis.
Gallagher Security said attendees will hear about how it applies Command Centre updates and features in practical settings. The company said it will discuss new functionality and real-world scenarios.
The forum programme also includes material on systems integration. Gallagher Security said it will cover bi-directional integrations. It said it will also discuss connectivity with CCTV and video management systems, as well as third-party systems.
"The forum will also showcase powerful integration capabilities, from bi-directional integrations to seamless connectivity with CCTV/VMS and third-party systems, designed to streamline operations and future-proof security infrastructure," said Jarvis.
Perimeter technology
Gallagher Security said the event will include perimeter protection technologies. It listed monitored pulse fencing and vibration solutions as topics.
The company also flagged the F5 and F6 Fence Controllers. It described them as soon to be released.
Gallagher Security said Matheson will close the formal programme with a preview of upcoming features and its product roadmap.
Networking session
Following the presentations, Gallagher Security said it will run a networking hour. It said the session will include lunch and refreshments.
The company said the networking session will include time for questions and answers with its team. It also said attendees will have hands-on time with Command Centre.
