Gallagher Security has announced the appointment of Freeway Security Wholesalers as a lead vendor of their Gallagher Security Made Better (SMB) solution for the Australian market. The announcement was made during an official launch event held at Adelaide's Jarmers Kitchen on 9 July.
Greg O'Neill, Gallagher Security's National SMB and Perimeter Manager, articulated the significance of the new partnership. "This is an exciting new chapter for Gallagher, and we are looking forward to working closely with Freeway to deliver our SMB solution across Australia, providing Security Integrators with an efficient and streamlined purchasing process," he said.
Freeway Security Wholesalers has been a prominent supplier of electronic security and communications products to the trade in South Australia since 1966. Steve Prescott, Managing Director of Freeway Security Wholesalers, expressed his enthusiasm at the launch event. "We're excited to see so many customers here to support the launch of our new Lead Vendor Partnership with Gallagher, and the interest in deploying the Gallagher SMB solution. We look forward to providing a high level of support and service, together with you, our customers, and Gallagher Security," Prescott stated.
Tuesday's event provided an opportunity for attendees to engage directly with the Gallagher Security and Freeway teams. Guests were able to interact with the SMB solution and learn more about the value offered by the new vendor partnership model.
The Gallagher SMB solution, described as an app-based security solution, aims to simplify and streamline security for businesses. It offers ease of use, improved efficiency, remote access, upgrades, easy installation, and around-the-clock support. The cloud-based app is available in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States.
Greg O'Neill added, "We're excited about the direction we are taking with Freeway and the future roll out of SMB across Australia. This partnership signals a fresh approach, and one that maintains the uninterrupted availability of our product to installers across the country."
The announcement marks a significant shift from Gallagher's existing model to the newly instituted 'lead vendor' model. It aims to enhance the distribution process and ensure the seamless availability of the Gallagher SMB products to security integrators in Australia.
