Waratek names Rimini Street exclusive Pinnacle Partner globally

Today

Waratek has named Rimini Street as its sole Pinnacle Partner, recognising almost eight years of strategic collaboration and the company's global role in supporting and implementing Waratek solutions.

Waratek, a provider of runtime application security technology, highlighted Rimini Street's position as the exclusive Pinnacle Partner, noting its status as the first partner in the third-party support sector and its role as the primary global implementer, managed services, and support provider of Waratek solutions.

The designation acknowledges that Rimini Street has been trained and certified with exclusive expertise in the development of Waratek's custom rules. According to Waratek, no other company brings the same depth of experience in supporting and securing global enterprise software with the Waratek engine.

Douglas Ennis, Chief Executive Officer of Waratek, said, "For eight years, Rimini Street has been an invaluable collaboration partner helping to shape innovation at Waratek with their direct experience implementing, managing, and supporting our solutions. That relationship is reflected in recognising Rimini Street as the first and only Pinnacle Partner."

Rimini Street's application of Waratek's product suite has been deployed across thousands of global client applications, providing expertise and support, particularly in the protection of Java SE 5-based applications. Java SE 5, originally launched in 2004, remains in use in some organisations despite vendor support ending a decade ago. Rimini Street's experience enables it to address risks associated with such legacy systems, utilising Waratek's security engine.

Leveraging knowledge of client environments and enterprise software, Rimini Street has also developed advanced custom rules and processes specific to the Waratek engine. This tailored approach allows for bespoke security configurations and support.

Gabe Dimeglio, Chief Information Security Officer, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Rimini Protect and Rimini Watch solutions at Rimini Street, said, "Rimini Street has effectively addressed the complex challenge of defining the best industry practices for protecting enterprise software. Over the almost 8 years in partnership with Waratek, we were able to build a solution incorporating their incredible technology as a key part of our approach to securing enterprise applications and middleware."

Dimeglio added, "Our team of over 75 full-time professionals, working around the clock in a global model, have unmatched knowledge on how to implement, operate, and support Waratek-based solutions, creating what we believe is the most effective and seamless user experience available in the market."

Feedback from Rimini Street clients, according to Waratek, plays a role in the continuing development and delivery of security solutions. Insights from customers help both companies to keep improving their offerings to better protect enterprise software and sensitive organisational data.

Waratek's ongoing commitment, as outlined in the announcement, is to continue delivering security and technology innovations to the market alongside Rimini Street's managed services and specialised support in the application security field.
