SquareX appoints David Smith as new Chief Revenue Officer
SquareX has appointed David Smith as its new Chief Revenue Officer.
David Smith joins SquareX, a company focused on browser security, with a substantial background in technology and cybersecurity. His career includes leadership roles where he has been instrumental in driving revenue growth and overseeing successful acquisitions. Notably, during his tenure at Revver, he significantly contributed to revenue enhancement and market positioning. At Mocana, David initially served as CRO, later ascending to Chief Executive Officer, where he successfully led the company through its acquisition by DigiCert. Furthermore, as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Enterprise Success Officer at WhiteHat Junior, David played a key role in the firm's expansion and its acquisition by NTT Global.

In his position as CRO, David Smith is expected to develop and execute the revenue strategy, targeting increased customer adoption and the establishment of strategic partnerships. His efforts will be central as the company aims to enhance its browser-native security offerings to combat arising tech challenges faced by organisations globally. SquareX is recognized for its browser detection and response (BDR) solution, which assists organisations in managing web-based threats efficiently.
