Nord Security & ACA Pacific partner to boost APAC cyber defence

Thu, 9th Oct 2025

Nord Security has announced a partnership with ACA Pacific to provide cybersecurity solutions for managed service providers and resellers across the Asia-Pacific region.

This agreement follows a period in which the APAC region has become a principal target for cyberattacks, with research from IBM indicating that 34% of all investigated cyber incidents globally are found within this area. These incidents often involve ransomware, malware, reconnaissance and scanning tools, and server access breaches, leading to heightened concerns over cybersecurity throughout the region.

Strategic partnership

The collaboration will see ACA Pacific's partners in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand gain access to three Nord Security business suite products. These include NordPass, a next-generation password manager built on the XChaCha20 encryption algorithm; NordLayer, a network security platform tailored for businesses that incorporates zero trust network architecture, secure web gateways, and firewall-as-a-service; and NordStellar, a threat exposure management platform that delivers real-time intelligence on vulnerabilities drawn from significant data pools in the deep and dark web.

Together, these tools will form a comprehensive cybersecurity package for regional MSPs and resellers, supporting them in addressing major security challenges and improving the overall level of protection for their clients.

Focus on APAC

"We are proud to partner with ACA Pacific, a renowned and highly experienced distributor for the APAC region," says Aivaras Artiskevicius, Channel Sales Director for EMEA and APAC regions at Nord Security. "This collaboration marks a significant step in Nord Security's mission to advance robust cybersecurity adoption globally, with a strategic focus this year on entering the APAC region, particularly Australia. To support this growth, we are expanding our distribution network and onboarding additional talent to deliver exceptional service across the region."

The agreement is set to expand Nord Security's reach and expose its solutions to a broader market, reflecting the company's intent to increase its presence in APAC, with particular emphasis on Australia.

ACA Pacific, which has distributed IT hardware and software solutions in the region for several decades, now enables its partners to augment their offerings on the ACA Pacific marketplace with next-generation cybersecurity tools from Nord Security. The partnership promises a streamlined supply of Nord Security's business suite products, aiming to enhance relationships between MSPs, resellers, and their clients.

Local support and accessibility

Both ACA Pacific and Nord Security have indicated that one of the alliance's key benefits will be faster local support and tailored training for local businesses. With access to these resources, partners are positioned to help their clients manage and respond to a rapidly evolving threat environment.

"We're excited to partner with Nord Security, a global leader in cybersecurity. This collaboration gives ACA Pacific's partners access to powerful tools such as NordPass, NordLayer, and NordStellar, which help to tackle major security challenges in the ANZ region. These solutions are easy to use, scalable, and designed to protect businesses from growing cyber threats," said Mark Gill, General Manager of ACA Pacific Australia and New Zealand.

Through the new agreement, ACA Pacific's partners can now add the full suite of Nord Security offerings to their portfolios, potentially increasing the breadth and value of the cybersecurity solutions they deliver to their customers.

This move comes at a time of growing pressure on businesses throughout APAC to improve their cyber resilience amidst a marked increase in cyber threats and vulnerability disclosures. The partnership aims to support these businesses by offering access to tools and intelligence that may help mitigate the risk of attack and reduce the impact of breaches.
