LogicMonitor taps Chillisoft for ANZ expansion push
LogicMonitor has partnered with Chillisoft to expand across Australia and New Zealand, gaining access to Chillisoft's regional cybersecurity channel network.
The agreement makes Chillisoft LogicMonitor's first dedicated distributor for observability and AI-driven IT operations. The companies will use a partner-led model to reach resellers, consulting firms and managed service providers.
Under the arrangement, Chillisoft will distribute LogicMonitor's platform across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. It already provides technical support, pre-sales consulting and managed services, including managed detection and response, to reseller partners and enterprises.
Australia and New Zealand are among LogicMonitor's most established markets outside the US. It is looking to drive wider adoption of its software among organisations managing hybrid infrastructure, cloud services, internet-facing systems and digital user environments.
Channel model
The partnership introduces a two-tier distribution structure. Chillisoft will work with resellers, consulting partners and managed service providers, which will then sell to end customers or run LogicMonitor in multi-tenant environments.
The model reflects how many software vendors build a presence in Australia and New Zealand without large local teams. Chillisoft often acts as an extension of overseas suppliers seeking regional growth without significantly increasing headcount.
"Chillisoft's vendors are growing quickly; however, they don't have large in-country teams. Many are being asked to deliver strong growth year on year without significantly increasing headcount. That's where Chillisoft comes in. We operate as an extension of the business, often to the point where the lines between vendor and distributor become seamless," said Gavin Lawless, Chief Executive Officer Australia, Chillisoft.
Lawless said adding LogicMonitor expands Chillisoft's portfolio beyond cybersecurity into observability and IT operations.
"LogicMonitor brings Chillisoft an AI-first platform for Autonomous IT, unifying visibility from user to code across infrastructure, cloud, Internet, and digital experience. This strengthens our ability to support partners with end-to-end visibility across the infrastructure environment, an increasingly critical requirement as organisations manage more complex, interconnected systems," Lawless said.
Regional focus
New Zealand is a key focus of the partnership. Chillisoft has operated there for nearly three decades and has an established local network of partners and customers, while LogicMonitor has largely served the market through channel relationships.
Luke Fogarty, Regional Vice President, Technical Services APAC at LogicMonitor, said the partnership is designed to extend the company's reach through an established partner base.
"Organisations are placing greater emphasis on resilience and visibility across their digital environments as AI adoption accelerates. This partnership enables LogicMonitor to scale through a well-established partner network, while ensuring partners are equipped with the expertise needed to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for customers," said Luke Fogarty, Regional Vice President, Technical Services APAC, LogicMonitor.
Fogarty also highlighted New Zealand as a market where local support and partner coverage are important to software deployment and customer retention.
"New Zealand is an important growth market for LogicMonitor. Working with Chillisoft allows us to scale through an experienced local team, deliver joint initiatives, and more closely support partners and customers," Fogarty said.
Infrastructure plans
LogicMonitor also plans to open a data centre in New Zealand as part of its broader regional strategy. The facility would complement its existing infrastructure in Sydney and Singapore.
The additional site is intended to support Asia-Pacific customers seeking lower latency and local hosting options tied to data sovereignty and compliance requirements. LogicMonitor linked the investment to demand from organisations running digital services across increasingly distributed and internet-dependent environments.
LogicMonitor's software uses its Edwin AI system to help IT teams sort alerts, detect anomalies and identify root causes earlier. Chillisoft will help partners package and deliver those capabilities to customers across the region through its existing channel model.
The agreement also highlights a broader overlap between cybersecurity distribution and IT operations software in Australia and New Zealand, where resellers and service providers are increasingly expected to offer monitoring, resilience and operational tools alongside security products.
Chillisoft was founded in New Zealand in 1998 and has since expanded across Australia and the Pacific. LogicMonitor, which focuses on monitoring and IT operations software, said the partnership will help deepen its coverage in a market where it already has a significant presence outside the US.
