Gallagher to host Western Australia Security Forum in Perth

Wed, 10th Jun 2026 (Today)

Gallagher Security will host a Western Australia Security Forum in Perth, bringing together security professionals from across the state.

The forum is aimed at channel partners, end users, consultants and technology partners in Western Australia. The programme will focus on networking, industry discussion and updates on Gallagher's product direction.

Paul Gordon, Sales Manager - Western Australia, said the event is intended to strengthen links across the local security sector and reflects the company's focus on the state market and its existing partner network.

"This year's Western Australia Security Forum aims to connect Gallagher's strong, local network across the state, while strengthening the sense of community we're so proud of in the security industry," Gordon said.

Attendees will hear about recent developments in Gallagher's systems and planned work in the sector. Sessions will also examine how organisations use existing security infrastructure, integrate systems and approach the protection of critical assets and high-risk sites.

Another part of the programme will focus on perimeter protection and newer tools for threat detection, with discussion centred on outer-layer site security and measures used to identify risks earlier.

"Attendees will gain valuable insights into Gallagher's latest advancements and future initiatives, with an agenda designed to educate and showcase what's ahead. The forum will highlight how organisations can maximise value from their existing security systems, reduce complexity through integrated solutions, and strengthen their approach to protecting critical assets and high-risk environments," Gordon said.

Several senior executives are due to speak during the event. Dean Matheson, National Technical Manager, will discuss the company's product roadmap, while Andrew Myssonski, High Security and Federal Manager, will present on approaches to protecting critical assets.

Scott Johnstone, Director of Sales - Australia, is also scheduled to lead a session on previous engagement work, lessons drawn from that experience and the case for renewed focus across the industry. The programme spans commercial, technical and operational themes.

Partner Focus

Technology partners named for the forum include ASSA ABLOY, Milestone Systems and Salto Systems. They will show how their products work with Gallagher's systems as part of broader security set-ups.

The event will also cover training, support and other resources available to channel partners and end users. Gallagher said this part of the programme is intended to address practical support over the longer term as organisations maintain and develop their security operations.

Western Australia has a significant concentration of sites with demanding security requirements, including assets tied to mining, infrastructure and government activity. That backdrop has made the state an important market for suppliers of access control, perimeter protection and integrated monitoring systems.

Industry forums such as this are commonly used by security vendors to maintain contact with installers, consultants and end customers, while also outlining product plans and partner relationships. They can also provide a venue for discussing operational challenges in sectors where compliance, site resilience and asset protection carry particular weight.

Gallagher's event places notable emphasis on local relationships in Western Australia while drawing on national executives for some presentations. That approach suggests the company is seeking to tie state-based customer and partner engagement more closely to its wider Australian strategy.

"We will have Dean Matheson, National Technical Manager, join us to share insights into Gallagher's product roadmap and upcoming innovations," Gordon said.

"Andrew Myssonski, High Security and Federal Manager, will present on strategies for protecting critical assets, bringing national expertise to the Western Australia audience," Gordon said.

The programme also highlights the role of integration between security systems and partner technologies. In practice, this has become a central part of many security deployments as organisations seek to connect access control, video management, locking systems and perimeter defences within a single operating environment.

For channel businesses, the inclusion of support, training and partner tools points to the commercial side of vendor relationships as much as the technical one. End users, meanwhile, are likely to focus on how integrated systems can simplify site management and improve visibility across complex estates.

"The Western Australia Security Forum underscores Gallagher's ongoing commitment to supporting channel partners, end users, consultants and technology partners, delivering innovative technology and meaningful opportunities to connect and learn," Gordon said.
