Gallagher Security appoints Jake Kearns to lead SMB strategy
Gallagher Security has appointed Jake Kearns as National SMB and Perimeter Manager for Australia.
Jake Kearns steps into the role with responsibilities focused on supporting Channel Partners and End Users seeking simplified, self-managed security solutions that do not require the complexity of enterprise offerings. In addition to leading small and medium business (SMB) strategy, he will oversee Gallagher's perimeter security initiatives across Australia, which are crucial for providing a first line of defence for critical sites.
Kearns brings significant industry experience, having spent over thirteen years in the Australian security market. His most recent position was National High Security Compliance & Operations Manager at Johnson Controls. He has been noted for his deep familiarity with Gallagher's products and solutions, which range from SMB to perimeter as well as high-security Type 1A and enterprise systems.
"Jake's more than 13 years of experience in the local market means he has an excellent knowledge of Gallagher's award-winning product suite. He has hands-on experience with our Security Made Better (SMB) and Perimeter solutions, alongside deep expertise in our Type 1A and Enterprise offerings," says Scott Johnstone, National Sales Manager.
Johnstone highlighted that Kearns's combination of industry experience and thorough understanding of the market's requirements makes him well suited to lead Gallagher's growth in SMB and perimeter security.
"That mix makes him a fantastic fit to lead our SMB & Perimeter strategy, complemented by his long-standing relationships and deep understanding of what our Channel Partners and End Users need," Johnstone added.
Since launching in Australia, the SMB solutions have seen substantial uptake and are supported by Gallagher's network of vendors. The perimeter segment also continues to grow, with new projects in development.
