Dan Whittle to lead Wild Tech's managed services revamp
Dan Whittle has been appointed as the General Manager for Managed Services at Wild Tech, marking a significant development in the company's strategic direction towards providing advanced technology solutions.
Prior to joining Wild Tech, Whittle played a crucial role at Cheap as Chips, an Alceon-owned company, where he led its transformation from a legacy systems structure to a technology-driven retail entity. His work included the implementation of cloud ERP, launching online services, automating payroll functions, and establishing live data infrastructure across numerous locations.
This experience positions Whittle as a strong leader for Wild Tech's Managed Services Division.
"With Dan's leadership, we're strengthening our focus on delivering solutions that empower businesses to navigate an increasingly complex technology landscape."
"This division expansion reflects our vision to prepare organisations for the future of AI, cloud, and advanced digital capabilities," said Grant Wild, CEO of Wild Tech.
The company's updated managed services offerings include scalable, AI-ready infrastructure and a suite of advanced IT support services.
These services incorporate Microsoft technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 with Copilot. This ensures that businesses can smoothly integrate AI tools, optimise operations, and protect critical assets through enhanced cybersecurity measures.
Whittle remarked, "Our solutions focus on mitigating risk, enhancing operational efficiency, and empowering teams with AI-driven tools."
"From AI-powered 24/7 service desks to scalable cloud platforms, we aim to deliver services that not only meet immediate business needs but also position clients for long-term success in a digital-first world."
The Managed Services Division at Wild Tech provides comprehensive packages that encompass cloud infrastructure management, device lifecycle services, and ITIL-based service desk operations.
Bespoke solutions are also available, including assistance for critical upgrades, such as the upcoming transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11, required by October 2025.
Wild Tech's services aim to improve collaboration, streamline workflows, reduce disruption, and offer a scalable platform conducive to sustainable growth.
Through AI capabilities like Azure Cognitive Services and Power BI analytics, clients are enabled to gain actionable insights and maintain a competitive edge.
This expansion forms part of Wild Tech's broader commitment to empowering businesses in a technology-focused future.
With a bolstered team, advanced solutions, and a focus on AI, Wild Tech aims to lead in managed services advancements."
