CrowdStrike expands Marketplace with over 260 security products

Fri, 4th Oct 2024

CrowdStrike has announced a significant expansion of its CrowdStrike Marketplace, a centralised hub for security products compatible with its Falcon cybersecurity platform.

The project, initiated in the third quarter of 2023, now includes over 260 product listings from 140 partners. Prominent partners include firms like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloudflare, Cohesity, NVIDIA, Rubrik, and Zscaler.

The expansion also includes the broadening of the Marketplace Private Offer program. This initiative invites solution providers to work with CrowdStrike Falcon-integrated technologies, allowing customers to access a wider array of third-party solutions through preferred partners. Companies like CDW, GuidePoint Security, Optiv, and World Wide Technology have joined this program, enhancing the available offerings.

Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike, emphasised that the Marketplace not only showcases modern solutions but also supports the company's commitment to customer success. "The CrowdStrike Marketplace is a powerful catalyst for ecosystem innovation," Bernard commented. He added, "With the addition of top global and national resellers, we're expanding access to leading ISVs, strengthening the Marketplace's role in aligning the cybersecurity ecosystem around customer success."

As the cybersecurity landscape evolves, it's crucial for organisations to replace fragmented point products with a unified cybersecurity platform. CrowdStrike's Marketplace aims to address these needs by offering a streamlined method for integrating new technologies into existing cybersecurity frameworks, minimising complexity, and improving security outcomes.

Various participating companies have expressed their enthusiasm about this development. Matthew Soroka from CDW mentioned, "We're excited about joining CrowdStrike's Marketplace because it will enable us to unlock additional opportunities to provide CDW customers with robust and integrated cybersecurity solutions." Soroka expressed confidence in the continued value CDW can deliver through this partnership.

GuidePoint Security's Mark Thornberry highlighted the strategic benefits of their inclusion in the Marketplace. "Being featured in the CrowdStrike Marketplace Private Offer is a powerful testament to the value and expertise we bring to our shared customers," said Thornberry. He noted the enhanced ability to engage current and potential customers efficiently.

Optiv, another Marketplace partner, highlighted the importance of streamlined operations in the fight against cyber threats. Scott Goree stated, "Together with CrowdStrike, we are streamlining purchasing to help organizations accelerate operations and see faster time-to-value," underscoring the operational benefits of their collaboration.

Josh Bushman from World Wide Technology added, "By partnering through the CrowdStrike Marketplace, we are ensuring that our clients have access to the best-in-class cybersecurity solutions for today's cyber threats." Bushman pointed out that their presence in the Marketplace is strategic, aiming to deliver increased value and flexibility to clients.

The expansion of the Marketplace aligns with CrowdStrike's objective to provide access to cutting-edge technologies and integrated solutions. Through collaboration with major resellers and solution providers, CrowdStrike facilitates a more aligned and accessible ecosystem for its global customer base. This move is seen as a step to enhance cybersecurity capabilities and streamline operations for organisations worldwide.
