CrowdStrike has expanded its partnerships with Anthropic and OpenAI and named Sekuro its International Partner of the Year. The moves deepen CrowdStrike's push to tie its Falcon security platform more closely to the fast-growing market for artificial intelligence tools.

Falcon will be available through Anthropic's Claude Marketplace, allowing Anthropic customers to buy the platform using part of their existing Anthropic commitments. An expanded relationship with OpenAI will extend CrowdStrike security tools to Codex agents and bring OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Cyber into the Falcon platform.

Alongside the ecosystem updates, CrowdStrike published its annual customer and partner awards, naming Sekuro International Partner of the Year. Other partner winners included NVIDIA as Global Partner of the Year, Amazon Web Services as Global AI Partner of the Year, and Zscaler as Global Technology Alliance Partner of the Year.

Customer award recipients included Anthropic, Mondelēz International, Providence Health & Services, Salesforce, and United Airlines. CrowdStrike also named its first group of Circle of Excellence winners for net-new customer growth across its reseller and distribution network: Carahsoft, CDW, Kroll, Otsuka Corporation, and Softcat.

Marketplace move

The Anthropic arrangement centres as much on procurement as on product integration. By placing Falcon in the Claude Marketplace, CrowdStrike aims to reach buyers through a channel Anthropic customers already use for AI software and related tools.

Customers will be able to access Charlotte AI AgentWorks through Claude. Security teams will be able to describe tasks in natural language and create custom agents based on Falcon data and intelligence, with workflows such as triage, enrichment, threat hunting, and response run from within Claude.

Daniel Bernard outlined the company's view of changing buying patterns for AI software.

"AI is changing how enterprises operate - and how technology is procured, deployed, and run. Security is leading the charge," said Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer, CrowdStrike. "Together with Anthropic, we're bringing the Falcon platform to the Claude Marketplace, putting AI-native cybersecurity where enterprises are putting AI to work. We're turning frontier AI into a force multiplier for defenders."

Anthropic described the move as a way to make security products easier to buy within its own commercial ecosystem.

"The teams that keep companies safe should be able to get the best security tools from Anthropic as easily as they get Claude," said Ash Alhashim, Head of Enterprise Cybersecurity GTM, Anthropic. "That's why CrowdStrike's Falcon platform is coming to the Claude Marketplace. Anthropic customers get a security platform they trust on the commitments they've already made, and CrowdStrike customers get to run Falcon from the place their teams are already putting AI to work. With Charlotte AI, a team can describe what it wants in plain language and put a Falcon-powered agent to work directly from Claude. The Claude Marketplace is where enterprises will find the tools built to work with Claude, from the partners they already rely on."

OpenAI link

The expanded OpenAI relationship focuses on two areas: overseeing the behaviour of AI agents while they are running, and using OpenAI's cyber-focused model within CrowdStrike's own platform and services.

Falcon Guardian, CrowdStrike's AI Detection and Response product, will be used to discover supported Codex agents across an organisation, track their activity, and apply controls over the actions they are allowed to take. This is intended to help organisations identify compromised or unauthorised behaviour before it spreads across endpoints, software-as-a-service applications, cloud systems, and browser environments.

On the model side, GPT-5.6 Cyber will first be applied through CrowdStrike's Frontier AI Readiness and Resilience service. The model will be combined with threat intelligence, exploit validation, threat modelling, and workflow processes to assess risk and help set remediation priorities.

"Securing the agentic era means controlling the AI agents organisations depend on, and harnessing frontier AI to assess and act on risk at machine speed," said Bernard. "Together with OpenAI, we're doing both. Secure AI is the foundation for everything AI can do for the world."

Greg Brockman, President and Co-founder, OpenAI, linked the partnership to a broader shift in cyber defence.

"Status quo security is no longer enough, but AI gives defenders a real opportunity to become fundamentally stronger," said Brockman. "Working with CrowdStrike brings frontier AI into the tools defenders already use, helping them move faster from finding a problem to securing their systems."

Awards focus

The partner and customer awards offer a snapshot of the alliances CrowdStrike is leaning on as competition intensifies around AI-related cybersecurity products. Recognition for Sekuro is likely to carry particular weight in international markets, while the inclusion of companies such as NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services, and Anthropic underlines how closely cybersecurity vendors are tying their strategies to large AI and cloud groups.

Bernard drew a direct link between the awards and the company's broader ecosystem strategy.

"The Crowd is our advantage," said Bernard, Chief Business Officer, CrowdStrike. "Our customers are raising the bar for what's possible in cybersecurity, and our partners multiply that impact around the world. This year's winners show what happens when the world's leading organisations build, innovate, and win together on the most critical risk of today: securing AI."
