Mon, 1st Jul 2024

BlueVoyant has been named the winner of the 2024 Microsoft Worldwide Security Partner of the Year Award. The cybersecurity firm was also recognised as the Microsoft United States Security Partner of the Year for the third consecutive year and the Microsoft Canada Security Partner of the Year for the first time. These accolades highlight BlueVoyant's innovation and successful implementation of security solutions based on Microsoft technology.

Milan Patel, BlueVoyant's global head of managed detection and response, expressed pride in the recent recognitions. "We are honoured to be recognised by the Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year Awards, which celebrate partners who deliver exceptional Microsoft-based solutions," he said. "This recognition underscores our commitment to helping clients maximise their Microsoft Security investment with world-class expertise through the BlueVoyant Cyber Defense Platform."

Patel elaborated on BlueVoyant's innovative approach, stating, "BlueVoyant empowers customers to deploy and manage their Microsoft Security stack with advanced cyber defence solutions that surpass traditional MDR or Security Operations Center offerings. Our innovative approach has significantly grown our Microsoft customer base over the past three years, positioning us at the forefront of next-generation security operations. As we transition to a world where AI is foundational, BlueVoyant is partnering with Microsoft to be at the cutting edge of generative AI."

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, which saw over 4,700 nominations from more than 100 countries, recognise partners that have developed and delivered outstanding Microsoft Cloud applications, services, devices, and AI innovation over the past year. BlueVoyant was singled out for its exceptional security service delivery globally, particularly in the United States and Canada.

The Security Partner of the Year Award is given to a partner that excels in providing customers with comprehensive security solutions based on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure Security capabilities. The award highlights BlueVoyant's ability to offer end-to-end security rather than one-point solutions.

Nicole Dezen, Microsoft's chief partner officer and corporate vice president, praised this year's winners. "Congratulations to the winners and finalists of the 2024 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards," she stated. "The momentum generated by numerous AI and Copilot announcements this year fuelled innovation from our partners, enabling groundbreaking services and solutions to customers. I am inspired by the capability and creativity in our partner ecosystem and this year's winners beautifully demonstrate the best of what's possible with AI and the Microsoft Cloud."

In its pursuit to deliver industry-leading cyber defence, BlueVoyant provides managed extended detection and response (MXDR) services for clients using Microsoft Security technology. Its broader platform includes advanced threat detection, continuous monitoring of the open and dark web, automated remediation playbooks, and supply chain monitoring, offering a robust internal and external security solution.

BlueVoyant also utilises machine learning to reduce cybersecurity alert noise and accurately predict the severity of emerging vulnerabilities. The company is helping clients leverage generative AI, such as Microsoft Copilot for Security, through readiness assessments and advisory services.

In addition to its recent awards, BlueVoyant has been expanding its global presence. This includes the opening of a new Security Operations Center (SOC) in Leeds, England, and plans for another SOC in the EMEA region alongside its existing facility in Hungary. The company is also increasing its footprint in Japan and bolstering its Americas team.

BlueVoyant's accolades from Microsoft include being named the Security MSSP of the Year in 2023, achieving Microsoft Verified MXDR solution status in 2022, and being one of Microsoft's top 150 managed security partners. In 2021, it was a Microsoft Security 20/20 Partner Awards Winner for the Top MDR Team.
