BlueVoyant appoints Montoya & Dalvi for key roles

BlueVoyant has announced the appointment of Michael Montoya as Chief Operating Officer and Deepak Dalvi as head of SaaS product and Artificial Intelligence strategy.

Michael Montoya joins BlueVoyant with more than 25 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity. He will be responsible for overseeing the technology, product, and operations organisations within the company. Montoya's previous roles include serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Equinix and Digital Realty, as well as holding various leadership positions at Microsoft and FireEye/Mandiant, now known as Trellix/Google.

In his new role, Montoya aims to utilise his extensive background in cybersecurity to support BlueVoyant's mission. Deepak Dalvi has been appointed as the head of SaaS product and AI strategy, contributing over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity product management. Previously, Dalvi was responsible for leading the AI strategy at Trellix and played a critical role in the launch of the Trellix Wise generative AI-powered platform. His career also includes senior product management roles at Lacework, Aqua Security, and Symantec.

James Rosenthal, CEO and Co-Founder of BlueVoyant, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointments.
