Thu, 15th Feb 2024

The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team has announced the extension of its multi-year collaboration with global cybersecurity provider, SentinelOne. Central to the team's drive for success, safety, and security on and off the track, SentinelOne will continue to bring cutting-edge cybersecurity to the team's AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone, UK.

The partnership was initially established in 2021 when the renowned Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team announced its return to Formula One and designated SentinelOne as its Official Cybersecurity Partner. This extended agreement underscores the team's commitment to securing its operations against an increasingly sophisticated threat landscape.

As part of the expanded partnership, Aston Martin Aramco will employ SentinelOne's Singularity Platform. The same advanced technology has been employed by Aston Martin Lagonda since 2018, transforming its approach to cybersecurity and securing its operations in a rapidly evolving threat environment.

Data is paramount for Aston Martin Aramco, with vast amounts managed across an extensive and intricate infrastructure. For the team to stay competitive, this data needs to be rigorously safeguarded. As Official Cybersecurity Partner, SentinelOne leverages its AI-powered security solutions to predict and respond to digital threats. This cutting-edge technology enables the protection of every endpoint, IoT device, and cloud workload, providing the team with unrivalled intelligence and speed.

Clare Lansley, Chief Information Officer of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, expressed her enthusiasm for the renewed partnership. "Cybercriminals today move fast, and with SentinelOne as our Official Cybersecurity Partner, we can move faster to protect ourselves against threats,” she said. "SentinelOne provides Aston Martin Aramco with a powerful platform that is a game-changer, as our team push the limits of performance, knowing that they are protected by the most advanced solutions."

Sally Jenkins, Chief Marketing Officer at SentinelOne, also noted her delight at the extension of the collaborative effort with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. She said, "AI has opened the door to a new and increasingly sophisticated set of threats to the enterprise, and cybercriminals are using it to execute attacks with unprecedented speed. As their Official Cybersecurity Partner, we can put the team in pole position and take their security to new levels."

This partnership strengthens the efforts of both Aston Martin Aramco and SentinelOne to maintain a secure, efficient, and progressive approach to cybersecurity in a world where digital threats are constantly evolving. As the team continues to strive for excellence on and off the track, the advanced solutions provided by SentinelOne will remain a key component of their protection strategy.
