Zscaler appoints Wright to boost EMEA growth towards USD $5bn

Yesterday

Zscaler has announced the appointment of Hannah Wright as Vice President of EMEA Partners and Alliances.

This appointment comes as the company seeks to expand its partner-driven Go-to-Market activities and achieve a growth milestone of USD $5 billion in annual recurring revenue (ARR).

Wright joins Zscaler with nearly three decades of experience in the technology sector, having previously held senior roles at Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and most recently at Netskope. Her extensive background in IT networking, distribution, security, cloud and data centres, encompasses roles in both software and hardware sectors.

In her new role at Zscaler, Wright will focus on partner growth by ensuring an effective mix of team support and cross-functional collaboration. Her responsibilities will include aligning partner strategies to facilitate the business's growth ambitions in the EMEA region. The company aims to utilise this partner-centric approach as a core strategy for scaling its operations.

"Partners continue to play a crucial role as our force multiplier, and I am thrilled to have Hannah's leadership guide us on this exciting journey in EMEA," commented Anthony Torsiello, Senior Vice President of Global Partners and Alliances at Zscaler. "Her exceptional expertise and remarkable track record leading partner organisations make her an ideal leader to help accelerate our efforts throughout EMEA while also aligning our go-to-market strategy to scale our business to $5 billion and beyond in ARR."

Hannah Wright expressed her enthusiasm about joining Zscaler, stating, "After nearly three decades in the industry, I've seen the evolution from hardware to software, on-premises to cloud and now to services. Joining Zscaler is a natural progression on this journey. I'm looking forward to creating trusted relationships with the partner community in EMEA and allowing customers the choice in how they consume cutting-edge security solutions by the various partners' offerings."

The company's strategic direction includes leveraging a unified partnership approach to drive its goals, a critical strategy given the current inflection point Zscaler is undergoing with the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform. This approach involves collaborating with various distribution partners, service providers, value-added resellers, and system integrators.

Brian Marvin, Senior Vice President of Zscaler EMEA, remarked, "Having a proven cloud-centric channel and alliances leader like Hannah to align and accelerate growth is a critical ingredient in achieving the next phase of success for Zscaler. By combining technical expertise with a people-first approach, we're building a culture where partners and customers alike can thrive across the region."

Apart from Wright's appointment, Zscaler has strengthened its UK market team with the recent additions of Justin Brooks as AVP UK&I and Jonny Crebbin as Director of UK&I Partner Sales.
