Wiz names Accenture top partner in Australian awards

Wiz has named the winners of its 2026 Australian Partner Awards, the company's inaugural partner recognition programme in Australia.
The winners were announced at the Wiz Partner Summit in Sydney, where Accenture was named Partner of the Year and Accenture's Francesco Sbaraglia received the Bright Spark Award.
Sekuro won the GTM Magician award, Mantel Group was named Rising Star, and Versent received the AI Security Excellence Partner award.
Now part of Google Cloud, Wiz said the awards recognise Australian partners working with the company across cloud and AI security.
Its partner network includes system integrators, consulting partners, and value-added resellers that work with security and development teams on cloud and AI projects.

The awards also highlight the role of the Wiz Partner Alliance, the company's global partner programme, which is designed to support different partner types as they work with customers.

Cloud focus
Wiz focuses on cloud security and says its platform brings together code, cloud, and runtime data in one context for security and engineering teams. It says this helps organisations identify risk, address issues, and respond to threats across the application lifecycle.
The company also says its platform is used by 65% of the Fortune 100 and by many AI research groups. Its position within Google Cloud adds to the significance of the Australian partner awards as Wiz builds its regional channel presence.
Australian partners have become an important route to market for cloud and cyber security vendors as customers seek advice on securing increasingly complex technology estates. Recognition programmes such as these are commonly used to highlight firms that generate sales, build technical practices, or specialise in newer areas such as AI security.
In this case, the award categories suggest Wiz is placing particular emphasis on growth, go-to-market execution, and AI-related security work in the local market. The inclusion of an individual award alongside company categories also points to an effort to recognise practitioners and partner staff as well as corporate performance.
Accenture was the only organisation to receive two honours, with one company-wide award and one individual distinction through Sbaraglia. The remaining awards were distributed across a mix of Australian technology and consulting firms with established cloud and cyber security businesses.
