VECTEC Networks launches with new leaders to boost enterprise security

Thu, 21st Aug 2025

VECTEC has introduced VECTEC Networks, a specialist division focusing on enterprise networking and network security, alongside changes to its leadership structure.

The new division is intended to expand VECTEC's capacity and capability in providing networking and security solutions for enterprise clients. According to the company, VECTEC Networks will consolidate advisory, network delivery, and managed services, incorporating a range of experts, including consultants, analysts, engineers, architects, and project managers.

VECTEC Networks has outlined a service offering that includes design, implementation and ongoing management services relating to data centre networking, SD-WAN, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), network security, wireless networking, industrial networking, cloud networking, and network automation.

The launch of this division accompanies a change in leadership roles at VECTEC. Jack McEvoy, one of the co-founders, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and will oversee all functions of the organisation. Michael Murphy, also a co-founder, has taken on the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer, where he will focus on clients and partnerships.

"Networks should enable businesses but often don't and VECTEC Networks is about changing that by giving them the speed, resilience and security they need to compete," said Jack McEvoy, CEO and Co-Founder of VECTEC.
"We've built a team that lives and breathes networking, and we back them with the right technology partners and a culture that always puts clients first. That's how we help organisations cut through complexity, with networks that stay strong under pressure and scale without compromise."

The company stated that with the launch of VECTEC Networks, it intends to deliver the capability of a large-scale integrator with the precision and agility of a smaller provider. The firm emphasised its "client-first culture," and highlighted the importance of service, collaboration, and tailored solutions as central to its approach.

VECTEC Networks, according to the company, will combine global systems integrator scale and breadth with the customer service of a boutique operation. Global technology partners support the division and aim to deliver networking and security solutions to clients facing complex challenges.

The expanded team at VECTEC Networks will provide services to clients operating in sectors including healthcare, industrial & logistics, and banking & financial services. VECTEC has noted its recent success in industry awards and maintains information security practices certified to ISO27001 standards.

The company has described its strategy as positioning VECTEC Networks as a "challenger partner of choice" for enterprises seeking capability without compromising on agility or service. The new division is designed to help organisations maintain resilience and scalability in their networking and security infrastructure.
