Trustwave launches new services to enhance Microsoft Security
Trustwave has unveiled an expanded portfolio of offerings aimed at helping organisations leverage the full capabilities of Microsoft Security under their Microsoft 365 enterprise plans, including E5 and G5. This development comes as part of Trustwave's strategic partnership with Microsoft, focusing on bridging the gap between organisational security requirements and the evolving capabilities of Microsoft's security features.
The new offerings comprise Accelerator services, Implementation services, and Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) for Microsoft, which includes solutions such as Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Copilot for Security. Each service is designed to enhance the security posture of organisations, ensuring they can navigate complex migrations and optimise their Microsoft Security tools within current IT environments.
Trustwave's Accelerator Services aim to create a clear roadmap for organisations, defining steps to maximise return on investment and security outcomes from Microsoft Security. This service enables organisations to tackle intricate migrations and enhance the functioning of Microsoft Security tools in existing setups.
Meanwhile, the Implementation Services turn these strategic roadmaps into actionable plans, ensuring measurable security improvements through expertise in both Microsoft technology and cybersecurity. This service provides practical execution of the defined pathways, aspiring to deliver tangible upgrades in an organisation's security landscape.
The Trustwave MXDR for Microsoft offers organisations a comprehensive, 24/7 security operation solution. This includes extended detection, threat hunting, investigation, and response across various platforms such as endpoints, identity, cloud applications, and email, utilising Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel. This service integrates with a client's existing deployment of Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender XDR suite, allowing Trustwave to enact native response actions in Defender XDR for efficient and swift incident responses across a digital environment.
The MXDR Elite for Microsoft with Co-Managed SOC expands on the basic MXDR services by incorporating frequent collaboration with experts, a more customised experience, and tailored content. This service aims to bolster an organisation's security operations through a distinctive co-managed delivery approach, enhancing the overall security posture.
Eric Harmon, Chief Executive Officer of Trustwave, expressed enthusiasm regarding the new suite of offerings, highlighting their foundation upon a longstanding partnership with Microsoft. Harmon stated that these solutions exploit Trustwave's deep understanding of the Microsoft Security landscape and its world-class threat intelligence to empower organisations in bolstering their defensive capabilities and reducing threat exposure.
Craig Robinson, Research Vice President of Security Services at IDC, commented that Trustwave provides a complementary solution for organisations seeking to maximise their Microsoft Security investments. He noted that Trustwave's defence-in-depth approach, which merges advanced threat hunting with comprehensive security solutions, extends the capabilities of Microsoft's security tools, offering an extra layer of protection and detection. Robinson also pointed out Trustwave's ability to bridge the gap between evolving security needs and Microsoft's security offerings due to its global reach and expertise.
