Safetica partners with Kaira to boost data security in APAC region
Thu, 21st Dec 2023

Safetica, a prominent data security solutions provider, has recently announced a strategic alliance with Kaira, a renowned regional distributor of IT products and services. Their collaboration is intended to deliver Safetica's Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to enterprise customers in Singapore and the larger Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Since its establishment in 2007, Safetica has provided comprehensive enterprise-level security and data protection solutions to organisations in over 120 countries, accessible through a global network of more than 500 distributors and business partners.

The partnership with Kaira is set to allow Safetica to utilise Kaira’s knowledge of the APAC technology landscape to cater to the evolving cybersecurity needs of clients in this region. The main markets include Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong, with a primary vertical focus on Financial Services, Government, Healthcare and Manufacturing.

As the reliance on data grows for decision-making processes and informing business strategy, there's an increased need for data loss prevention. Safeguarding crucial data ensures businesses avoid detrimental setbacks such as financial loss, productivity disruption, long-term reputational damage and loss of customer trust. The data loss prevention market in the APAC region is projected to grow by a yearly rate of 22.1% from 2023 to 2030.

Richard Brulk, CEO of Safetica, emphasised the significance of data security in today's rapidly evolving work environments: “Safeguarding business-critical data against data leaks and insider threats, while ensuring regulatory compliance is crucial for organisations of all sizes in today's dynamic work environments."

“Our partnership with Kaira to bring our DLP solutions to Singapore and other markets in the APAC region is another milestone on our mission to empower organisations to proactively and effortlessly protect their data," said Brulk.

Rajesh Attal, CEO of Kaira, also acknowledged the supreme importance of data protection: “Every business, large or small, needs to secure confidential and customer data from leaving their organisation."

As a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), Kaira understands the significance of data protection and is proud to collaborate with Safetica to make comprehensive security and data protection solutions accessible to corporations and SMEs in Singapore and the broader region.

Attal continued, "Being an SME ourselves, we understand the utmost importance of data protection and are proud to partner with Safetica to bring their comprehensive security and data protection solutions within reach of corporations and SMEs in Singapore and the region. At Kaira, we pride ourselves in catering to businesses of all sizes and diverse industries."

"Our dedicated team is equipped to seamlessly guide customers through the implementation of Safetica Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, ensuring a tailored approach to meet the unique requirements of healthcare, manufacturing, and beyond. Each customer’s data security journey is our priority, regardless of their company's scale or industry," said Attal.
