Radware introduces AI SOC Xpert for enhanced security

Wed, 20th Nov 2024

Radware has launched its AI SOC Xpert service, aiming to transform application security incident management.

Radware's new cloud security service is designed to assist Security Operation Centres (SOCs) in managing Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) and application security incidents by utilising AI-based technology.

The company claims that this service can significantly reduce the mean time to resolution (MTTR) by up to 95%. The technology aims to provide SOC teams with automated attack detection, instant forensics data, and customisable remediation plans.

The AI SOC Xpert integrates with Radware EPIC-AI, utilising Agentic-AI architecture and generative AI algorithms. Radware's Chief Technology Officer, David Aviv, highlighted the potential impacts of this new service.

"With this game changing cloud service, SOC analysts of all skill levels can advance as DDoS and application security experts—and just in time," Aviv stated. He emphasised the service's capabilities in combating sophisticated cyber threats, noting, "Radware is leveraging the latest advancements in GenAI to successfully combat the most sophisticated zero-day exploits created by cybercriminals."

"AI SOC Xpert empowers SOC teams to do more with less. It streamlines data access, attack detection, and decision-making so they can focus on strategic tasks rather than manual processes and respond to cyberthreats with unprecedented speed and accuracy."

The AI SOC Xpert aims to protect customers' brands while reducing the time, effort, and costs associated with managing DDoS and application security incidents. It automatically detects evolving attacks using AI-based analysis, swiftly resolves incidents with tailored remediations, and reduces root cause analysis time by analysing large datasets of security events. The service also provides immediate access to forensic data through an AI-prompt assistant.

Additionally, the AI SOC Xpert makes policy tuning recommendations to enhance security policy accuracy without manual rule-setting, thus lowering operational costs.

The tool is designed to expedite onboarding and integration with existing operations, leading to quick deployment and shortened time to value.

Radware is a recognised name in cybersecurity, having received various accolades for its DDoS mitigation and application protection solutions.

The company has been acknowledged by industry analysts such as Aite-Novarica Group, Forrester Research, Gartner, GigaOm, IDC, KuppingerCole, and Quadrant Knowledge Solutions.
