Yesterday

Proofpoint has been recognised as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Communications Governance and Archiving Solutions.

In its assessment, Gartner evaluated 14 vendors, honouring Proofpoint for its Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision in the field of digital communication governance.

Mayank Choudhary, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Proofpoint's Information Protection and Compliance Group, commented on the recognition: "The proliferation of digital communication and collaboration tools has made it increasingly difficult to maintain visibility and context across disparate data sources. Coupled with the growing number of regulatory mandates, a more proactive approach to data management is increasingly critical to streamline e-discovery and supervision. We believe the Gartner evaluation further validates our steadfast commitment to facilitating informed compliance decision-making, managing information risk, and improving investigation readiness for our customers."

The Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archiving, last published in 2022, named Proofpoint as the longest-running Leader for 10 consecutive times, underscoring its continued proficiency in this sector.

Proofpoint's Digital Communications Governance (DCG) product is central to its offering, providing organisations with tools to simplify governance over communication data while delivering security insights across various digital channels. The company highlights DCG's capacity for unified security and compliance risk management, promoting the centralisation of communications content along with proactive and adaptive data controls.

The DCG solution incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) technology, which aims to reduce false positives and enhance both the discovery of information and the review process. According to Proofpoint, using this AI-driven approach, the efficacy of reviews is increased by 84% or more when compared to traditional systems.

Proofpoint also boasts a commendable reputation within the Enterprise Information Archiving market, marked by an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5 on Gartner Peer Insights, reflective of 109 reviews from users. These reviews stem from individual user experiences and are not officially endorsed by Gartner.
