Monday.com unveils AI strategy to revolutionise workflows
monday.com has announced its AI Vision, outlining its plan to embed artificial intelligence across its entire product suite by 2025.
The company aims to address common challenges associated with AI adoption, particularly in the context of small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and mid-market companies, as well as enterprise and Fortune 500 companies. monday.com's AI strategy is designed to enable these businesses to scale and transform dynamics without adding to their existing resources.
At the heart of monday.com's strategy are three core pillars intended to optimise how teams collaborate and operate: AI Blocks, Product Power-ups, and the Digital Workforce.
AI Blocks are customisable AI actions that allow users to integrate AI into both new and existing workflows without needing technical expertise. This feature aims to enable customers to harness advanced capabilities and streamline decision-making through straightforward actions.
Product Power-ups will incorporate AI capabilities throughout monday.com's suite of products, aiding customers in navigating significant challenges. This is set to enhance processes related to resource management, predictive risk management, CRM data automation, and real-time service ticket resolution.
The Digital Workforce initiative involves developing a scalable AI-powered team that can operate continuously. These digital agents will manage tasks such as analysing project risks, facilitating stuck sales deals, and pinpointing recurring issues in customer service. The first of these AI agents, dubbed monday Expert, is slated for launch in March and will focus on user onboarding and task execution.
Daniel Lereya, Chief Product and Technology Officer at monday.com, emphasised the user-friendly nature of their AI strategy. "People adopt products, not technology, and that's where monday.com comes in. By embedding intelligence into the products our customers already know, use, and love, AI will accelerate our mission to democratise the power of software," Lereya stated. "monday.com's AI Vision is not just about adding new features; it's about reimagining how work gets done, unlocking infinite possibilities, and empowering businesses to scale like never before. With a majority of our customers in non-tech industries, they're looking to us to lead them through the AI transformation. Our productisation of AI ensures that intelligence serves our customers and not the other way around."
To maintain accessibility, monday.com is offering a pricing model that includes 500 free AI Credits per month within every plan, enabling teams to explore AI functionalities. Additional credits can be purchased according to organisational needs, ranging from a starter pack of 2,500 credits to larger enterprise bundles of 250,000 credits.
Currently, over 245,000 customers utilise monday.com's services, which are designed to be flexible, reliable, and scalable. The company places significant importance on transparency, ease of adoption, and the explainability of its AI services to ensure that its integration remains both practical and beneficial.
The impact of monday.com's AI integration is already notable, with users completing approximately 10 million AI-driven actions by the end of fiscal year 2024. This statistic conveys the growing acceptance and utility of AI across a wide array of industries.
