Neal Bradbury named Chief Product Officer at Barracuda Networks
Barracuda Networks has just announced the appointment of Neal Bradbury as Chief Product Officer. Bradbury's primary duty will be to navigate the vision for Barracuda's comprehensive cybersecurity platform and galvanise customer-centric innovation across the entire portfolio.
Bradbury is a veteran of the company, having contributed to the Barracuda team for nine years. His most recent role was the SVP of Barracuda's Managed Service Provider business which saw him successfully lead product development, sales, and marketing sectors. Under his new title, Bradbury will join forces with a unified product, engineering, and advanced technology troop to drive Barracuda's cybersecurity platform innovations and offerings. This platform is framed to defend customers across all attack areas, notably email, networks, data, and applications.
Hatem Naguib, President and CEO of Barracuda, expressed his confidence in Bradbury's leadership abilities, noting his extensive understanding of the firm's products, technology, business processes, and market strategy. Naguib voiced his optimistic outlook, asserting his belief that "under Neal's leadership, we will continue to find new ways to meet customers evolving business needs for scalable security."
As the newly appointed Chief Product Officer, Bradbury's pivotal role will not just revolve around meeting customer needs. Naguib elaborated on the immense value that Bradbury's leadership will bring in helping partners to "safeguard their customers' SaaS applications, prioritise data protection, and improve efficiencies in the face of ever-evolving threats." With cybersecurity threats growing at unprecedented rates in our modern, increasingly digital world, such a mandate can bring about game-changing impacts.
Prior to joining Barracuda, Bradbury showcased his leadership and expertise in the fields of product development, sales, and marketing at Intronis, a company he co-founded in 2003. There, he held the role of Vice President of Systems Engineering from 2003 to 2013. He later shifted into operations and technical support roles before advancing to Vice President of Channel Development. Significantly, Bradbury was part of the core team that facilitated a successful acquisition by Barracuda in 2015.
With the cybersecurity industry undergoing rapid transformations and threats ever-increasing, Barracuda Networks' call to action by appointing Neal Bradbury as Chief Product Officer may serve as an innovative, customer-focused turning point for delivering scalable security solutions. The combination of Bradbury's business leadership skills, extensive technological understanding, and demonstrated industry knowledge paint an optimistic future for the company's cybersecurity platform development and market strategy.
