ManageEngine earns dual accolades for IAM solutions in 2024

Yesterday

ManageEngine, a division of Zoho Corp., has been recognised by both Gartner and KuppingerCole for its Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.

For the second year in succession, the company has been positioned as a Challenger in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management (PAM). The evaluation involved eight other PAM vendors and was based on specific criteria regarding Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute.

In another acknowledgement, ManageEngine has been designated as a Market Leader in the KuppingerCole Leadership Compass 2024: Identity Governance and Administration Report. Its solutions, AD360 and Identity360, have received praise for their capacities in managing identity life cycles, identifying and addressing risks, and establishing robust access governance through access certificate campaigns. The tools are also noted for supporting various authenticators, including FIDO.

Manikandan Thangaraj, Vice President at ManageEngine, commented on the recognitions, stating, "We believe these recognitions highlight our strategic focus on delivering comprehensive, identity-centric security solutions that address the evolving needs of global enterprises. We feel our platform's strength lies in its ability to unify advanced PAM, IGA, identity threat detection and response, and identity security posture management capabilities. This holistic approach enables organisations to build a resilient identity fabric that adapts to complex threat landscapes and stringent regulatory requirements."

The digital landscape continues to expand the role of identity management beyond its traditional confines, posing security challenges due to the complexity of identity ecosystems that include both human and non-human identities. With these evolving requirements, securing enterprise infrastructures has become integral to maintaining robust security postures. ManageEngine addresses these challenges through its solutions, which offer a unified approach to managing identities across the IT landscape.

Thangaraj elaborated on the company's strategy in addressing these challenges, saying, "ManageEngine is actively focusing on converged identity platforms where all identities and access controls can be managed conveniently. By eliminating identity silos, we ensure secure and efficient interactions of all user types within a connected ecosystem. In pursuit of our vision to help our customers complete their identity fabric, we enable our users to seamlessly integrate our platform with other applications, catering to diverse market needs while considering technological developments like emergent AI."

The recognition of ManageEngine by Gartner and KuppingerCole underscores its commitment to providing effective Identity and Access Management solutions that meet enterprises' evolving demands. The company aims to address the complexities and security challenges associated with diverse identity ecosystems by focusing on a unified approach to identity management.

As organisations continue to navigate an increasingly digital landscape, the ability to adapt to emerging technologies and regulatory requirements will be essential for maintaining robust security postures. ManageEngine's ongoing developments in this space reflect the importance of comprehensive identity governance as a critical component of enterprise security strategies.
