Keeper Security has appointed Tim Strickland as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Strickland will oversee the company's global revenue organisation, leading go-to-market strategy, customer growth, and expansion across sales channels.
Executive experience
Strickland brings over 20 years of experience in senior revenue and sales leadership roles at software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at ZoomInfo. During his tenure, he guided the company through an initial public offering and integrated multiple acquisitions into the firm's commercial functions.
Prior to his time at ZoomInfo, Strickland held leadership positions at Marketo. There, he was involved throughout its growth phases, the acquisition by Vista Equity Partners, and the subsequent sale to Adobe. His roles covered enterprise sales, account management, customer success, and developing global channel partnerships.
Role responsibilities
In his new position, Strickland will be responsible for sales operations, customer success, revenue management, and expanding Keeper's channel ecosystem. His focus will be on increasing market penetration for Keeper's platform, KeeperPAM. The platform covers a range of functions within privileged access management including password management, secrets management, privileged session management, zero-trust network access, endpoint privilege management, and remote browser isolation.
Keeper states that the move comes as demand rises for unified privileged access management and identity security to protect organisations from credential and identity-based threats.
Industry context
Strickland's appointment comes as cybersecurity remains core to organisational risk management. Many enterprises are elevating investment in privileged access management due to rising threats to passwords, infrastructure secrets, and remote endpoints. Keeper Security's focus is on zero-trust and zero-knowledge environments, which are becoming more common in contemporary IT strategies.
The company claims to serve thousands of organisations and millions of users globally, supporting customers across various regions, including Asia Pacific.
Strategic vision
"Tim is joining Keeper at a pivotal moment as organisations around the world confront unprecedented identity-based threats. He brings the kind of leadership that elevates teams, sharpens focus and accelerates impact. Tim understands the responsibility we have to our customers, and he shares our commitment to building secure, elegant solutions that drive meaningful outcomes. I'm confident he will help propel Keeper into its next chapter of growth while keeping our vision and our customers at the centre of everything we do," said Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-founder, Keeper Security.
Leadership perspective
As well as his executive responsibilities, Strickland is an Advisory Partner with Summit Partners, providing guidance to technology companies seeking to scale their go-to-market strategies. He will bring this experience to Keeper Security's commercial operations, with a focus on supporting customer security requirements and organisational growth.
"Identity and access security has never been more critical, and Keeper has built a revolutionary cybersecurity platform for organisations. The market opportunity is tremendous, and the company's momentum reflects a deep commitment to innovation and customer value. I'm excited to help scale our impact globally and support customers in strengthening their security posture," said Strickland.
