FYI, this story is more than a year old

Global technology research and advisory firm ISG has named Dynatrace, a front-runner in unified observability and security, as a Leader in the Cloud-Native Observability and Cloud-Native Security quadrants of its 2023 ISG Provider Lens, Multi-Public Cloud Solutions report.

ISG conducted a detailed analysis of 23 observability providers and 25 security providers. The selection criteria for the evaluation were based on two primary factors: Competitive Strength and Portfolio Attractiveness. As a culmination of this rigorous assessment, Dynatrace secured a prestigious position in both quadrants, emerging as the highest-ranked provider in cloud-native observability.

Notably, Dynatrace distinguished itself as the only provider straddling both the observability and security spectrums, thereby achieving the unique status of 'Leader' in the category of cloud-native security.

This eminent recognition attests to the market-leading dynamism, innovation, and proficiency of the Dynatrace platform, which focuses on helping customers keep pace with the rapidly converging landscapes of observability and security.

Shashank Rajmane, Principal Analyst and Manager at ISG research and the report's lead author, praised Dynatrace's strong presence in cloud-native observability and security.

Rajmane said, "Dynatrace is a clear Leader in cloud-native observability and security, providing a comprehensive and unified platform that addresses the challenges of optimising and securing modern cloud environments and end-user experiences."

"The Dynatrace platform leverages cutting-edge AI to deliver rich and actionable insights into digital services' health, performance, and security and powers extensive automation of manual development, security, and operations tasks."

"The platform also leverages AI to detect, block, and analyse vulnerabilities in runtime environments. By seamlessly integrating AI-powered observability and security into one unified platform, Dynatrace enables organisations to optimise cloud operations and defend against emerging threats so they can spend more time driving innovation," said Rajmane.

Steve Tack, SVP of Product Management at Dynatrace, spoke about receiving recognition from ISG. He emphasised the rising convergence of observability and security sectors given the explosion of data from cloud-native architectures.

Track said, "We are honoured by this recognition from ISG, which highlights Dynatrace's leadership in the converging spaces of observability and security."

"This convergence reflects the explosion of data from cloud-native architectures and the opportunity to use it to fuel insights and automation that allow development, security, IT, and business teams to deliver faster, more secure innovation."

"The Dynatrace platform enables this by combining the deepest and broadest cloud-native observability, continuous runtime application security, and the industry's most advanced AI to deliver precise answers and intelligent automation from data."

"As a result, our customers are empowered to optimise their modern cloud environments as they focus on delivering flawless and secure digital experiences with unparalleled speed and confidence," said Track.

Dynatrace equips its customers with the necessary tools to enhance their modern cloud environments as they continue to provide secure digital experiences with remarkable speed and confidence.
