Infotrust debuts on ASX, unifying cyber & IT services focus

Thu, 4th Dec 2025

Infotrust has commenced trading on the Australian Securities Exchange, following a rebrand from Spirit Technology Solutions. The move consolidates a series of acquisitions and marks a step in the company's strategy to focus on cybersecurity and technology services under a unified national brand.

New structure

The company now comprises more than 250 professionals, including a significant proportion specialising in cyber security. Infotrust maintains a Security Operations Centre based in Australia, providing round-the-clock monitoring and support. Its operations serve over 1,000 organisations across both public and private sectors.

Market positioning

Infotrust has been incorporated from a merger between Spirit and Infotrust. The transition brings together operational capabilities in managed IT, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and advisory services. The group has also consolidated several previously acquired brands under the Infotrust umbrella.

The company's cyber security business, which includes the Forensic IT brand, has become the largest segment within the group. Infotrust reports that its cyber division has achieved the top ranking on the Tech Partner Fast 50 list for 2025 and has received industry awards for resilience and growth.

Focus on sovereignty

With its Security Operations Centre located onshore, Infotrust aims to address the increasing emphasis on data sovereignty in Australia. The company delivers services in threat detection, incident response, and compliance assurance, aligning with local regulatory requirements. The Forensic IT capability adds digital forensics and large-scale incident response to the group's portfolio.

The leadership team states that the group's expanded service range is intended to help clients manage complex cyber risks and achieve compliance outcomes.

Leadership comments

"The change to the ASX-listed company name to Infotrust reflects our commitment to building a sovereign, secure and scalable technology partner for Australia." said Julian Challingsworth, Group Managing Director and CEO, Infotrust. "We have invested in talent, infrastructure, and innovation to meet the growing demand for integrated cyber and IT services across public and private sectors."

The company reports it now fields over 200 cybersecurity specialists and delivers comprehensive services in governance, risk, compliance, offensive security, and managed IT.

"Cyber security is no longer a siloed function; it is a strategic imperative." Challingsworth added. "Infotrust is uniquely positioned to help Australian organisations navigate complexity, manage risk, and innovate securely."
