Global Fashion Group partners with Tenable for AWS security boost

Thu, 22nd Aug 2024

Tenable announced that Global Fashion Group (GFG) has selected Tenable One to enhance visibility and security across its Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud workloads. GFG is a prominent online fashion and lifestyle destination operating in regions including Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), Latin America (LATAM), and Southeast Asia (SEA).

The partnership with Tenable has enabled GFG to address the challenges of safeguarding its cloud infrastructure and critical assets on AWS. Operating across multiple geographies, GFG's IT team has consolidated technologies, mitigated cloud vulnerabilities, and strengthened security measures for its essential IT assets. Implementing zero-trust network access is part of these efforts, coupled with a robust strategy to communicate business risks to key stakeholders.

Aleksandar Radosavljevic, GFG's Global Chief Information Security Officer, emphasised the importance of these measures. "Tenable One spans our IT assets, cloud resources, web applications, and active directory. Their solutions help us anticipate threats and prioritise remediation across our attack surface by focusing on addressing vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and entitlement issues. Cloud-based services are a key part of our business, so this preventative approach helps us enhance our cloud security posture and protect customer and business data," said Radosavljevic.

Radosavljevic added, "As an exposure management platform, Tenable One allows me to see assets, vulnerabilities, cloud misconfigurations, entitlement and over-privileged identities, and identity system flaws across our three sites in a single view. We've been able to integrate and consolidate expensive point tools, which improves visibility and control across our attack surface."

Utilising Tenable's reporting tools, GFG can better communicate cyber risk to non-technical stakeholders, providing actionable insights aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. Tenable's solutions, which include exposure analytics and reporting functionalities, have been pivotal in establishing clear risk objectives and service level agreements. This alignment has driven business accountability, ensuring that resources and budgets are allocated based on risk priorities.

Tenable's solutions have improved IT asset discoverability, improved system integrations, and simplified licensing processes. These advancements have reduced tool complexity and costs, resulting in notable time savings and an overall bolstered security posture for GFG.

Nigel Ng, Senior Vice President, APJ, at Tenable, commented on the successful collaboration. "Our work with GFG showcases Tenable's commitment to delivering solutions that not only address complex cybersecurity challenges but also align with the unique needs of our clients, facilitating their global operations," said Ng.

The partnership between Tenable and Global Fashion Group (GFG) underscores the importance of advanced cloud security and exposure management. By adopting Tenable One, GFG enhances its risk management across its AWS cloud environment, demonstrating how targeted security solutions can improve visibility and resilience in complex IT settings.
