The Experience Centre will serve as a critical hub for Genetec's ANZ-based partners and customers.

SYXC is a major addition to the company's existing Experience Centres in Montreal, Paris, London, Mexico City, Washington D.C., Dubai, and Singapore. Among Genetec's partners at the launch will be Convergint Technologies, Fortis, and ACG Integration.

Mr Chanthivong expressed his delight at the opening of Genetec's new Experience Centre and the choice of Tech Central as its base for the company's Oceania headquarters. He stated, "This is another vote of confidence in NSW as the premier destination in Australia for global businesses to invest and grow. Tech Central is Australia's largest technology and innovation hub, and we welcome Genetec to its growing community of members." The minister also emphasised the importance of fostering innovation growth through international collaboration, partnerships, and cutting-edge technology in future-proofing the state.

Daniel Lee, Managing Director, APAC, Genetec, expressed that Genetec was "investing significantly and playing a lead role in supporting Australian and New Zealand private sector organisations and government agencies to strengthen and bolster their physical security operations." He insisted that with the opening of the Sydney Experience Centre, Genetec is expanding its global footprint to provide channel partners, technology partners, and end users the chance to experience first-hand the innovative technology and solutions that the company offers.

The new Experience Centre will operate as a fully functioning Security Operations Centre and showcase an Internet of Things (IoT) wall, providing an immersive experience for customers in any industry. It will display how Genetec's solutions can directly enhance security and operations. Other features of the centre include a training centre and a modern workspace designed to accommodate the fast-growing Genetec ANZ team.

Genetec Country Manager, ANZ, George Moawad, explained that the centre would be showcasing "video management, access control, license plate recognition, security and communications management, and secure cloud services to protect people and places." He further encouraged organisations interested in viewing the advanced physical security technology and solutions in action to arrange for a personalised tour of the centre.
