Gallagher Security opens Stockholm office with new tech hub

Today

Gallagher Security has opened a new office in Stockholm, Sweden, aiming to strengthen its presence in the Nordics and further its long-term plans in Europe.

The new Stockholm office marks what the company described as a strategic milestone, reinforcing Gallagher Security's commitment to the region as part of a wider European expansion strategy. The opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by guests from across the Nordics, including channel partners, consultants and end users.

Central to the new office is a customer experience facility known as The Hub. Originally launched in 2024 at the company's European headquarters in Warwick, UK, The Hub is designed to provide an interactive environment where visitors can explore Gallagher's suite of security technology. The Swedish iteration follows the Warwick model, offering hands-on demonstrations of integration capabilities and real-world applications across various sectors.

A significant addition to The Hub in Stockholm is QuickSwitch, a solution intended to simplify the process of migrating from legacy security systems to Gallagher's platform. QuickSwitch is positioned as a method for reducing both the complexity and cost associated with system upgrades, featuring a fast, cost-effective installation process and adaptable form factors for channel partners and end users. By allowing visitors to experience QuickSwitch in operation, Gallagher seeks to address one of the persistent challenges in security technology adoption.

This office is more than a workspace - it's a regional centrepoint for innovation, collaboration, and connection. I'm especially looking forward to introducing our partners and customers to The Hub in Stockholm and showing them what's possible when world-class security meets local expertise.

These were the remarks of Håkan Björkman, Regional Manager – Nordics, who highlighted the opening as a timely development for Gallagher Security's growth in the region.

Spencer Marshall, Executive Vice President – Europe, emphasised the strategic rationale behind choosing Sweden as the site for the expanded presence. He stated, "Sweden is the obvious choice to plant a flag for Gallagher's European journey. It's a market with strong innovation values, trusted partnerships, and forward-thinking customers. I'm thrilled to be here in person for this opening. I have full confidence in Håkan and the Nordics team to grow our presence and deliver exceptional value across the region. This new office, and particularly this new Hub, is an important step in our long-term strategy to make Gallagher the partner of choice across Europe."

The new Stockholm office is intended to serve as a base for the Nordics team and an engagement point for partners and visitors interested in the latest developments in security solutions. Through The Hub and technologies like QuickSwitch, Gallagher Security is focusing on removing barriers to the adoption of integrated security systems and supporting organisations as they transition from existing frameworks.

In addition to the technology on display, the facility has been developed as a space for collaboration and discussion with partners and clients. It is anticipated that this approach will help Gallagher Security address the particular needs of the region and foster deeper engagement with both current and prospective customers.

With the Stockholm office now operational, Gallagher Security continues to build on its previous investments in Europe, aligning its offerings with local requirements while pursuing a wider objective of delivering security solutions that combine cyber resilience with practical implementation at scale.
