Dynatrace wins top observability & cloud security nods

Tue, 27th Jan 2026

Dynatrace has secured two analyst endorsements for its observability and cloud security products, with recognition from Gartner Peer Insights and ISG in their latest reports.

Gartner Peer Insights named Dynatrace a Customers' Choice in its 2025 Voice of the Customer for Observability Platforms report. Dynatrace said customers rated its product capabilities at 4.7 out of 5 stars. Dynatrace also said 93% of reviewers indicated they would recommend the platform.

The Gartner Peer Insights assessment reflects aggregated feedback from verified end users. Dynatrace said reviews in the report were submitted during an 18-month period ending October 31, 2025.

Dynatrace also received recognition from ISG in the 2025 ISG Provider Lens Multi Public Cloud Solutions report. ISG named Dynatrace a Leader in both the Cloud-Native Observability and Cloud-Native Security quadrants.

Customer feedback

Dynatrace cited several customer comments included in the Gartner Peer Insights report. One reviewer described Dynatrace as: "Best-in-Class observability platform for modern architectures." Another reviewer wrote: "Shortest time to AI-based insights... Amazing time to value with granular details. Davis AI implemented at the heart makes [it] much easier to identify issues."

A third review stated: "Provides deep monitoring for application and infrastructure and integrates with CI/CD." A fourth said: "On top of all the technical capabilities, the customer support from Dynatrace is above all expectations."

Another reviewer wrote: "Dynatrace is an exceptional platform... Excellent link logs, metrics and traces empower us to effectively identify the root cause of issues, reducing mean time to resolution and maintaining ideal application performance."

Dynatrace positioned the Gartner recognition as a signal of customer sentiment on observability requirements as organisations manage larger, more complex technology estates.

"We're honoured that Dynatrace has been recognised as a Customers' Choice in the 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for Observability Platforms," said Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer, Dynatrace.
"As agentic AI transforms how enterprises operate; the complexity of digital environments continues to grow exponentially. Our customers require solutions that go beyond traditional observability and provide in-depth insights and confidence, enabling them to drive greater resilience and innovation. In our opinion, this recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting that need."

Dynatrace also pointed to separate Gartner research coverage. The company said Gartner named Dynatrace a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Observability Platforms for the 15th consecutive time. Dynatrace said it held the highest position for Ability to Execute.

ISG assessment

In the ISG Provider Lens report, ISG assessed 22 observability providers and 24 security providers, according to Dynatrace.

Dynatrace said ISG placed it in the highest position in the Cloud-Native Observability quadrant again. Dynatrace also said the ISG assessment marked a sixth consecutive year of Leader status for cloud-native security.

ISG Analyst Shashank Rajmane commented on Dynatrace's positioning in the market and the combination of observability and security functions.

"Dynatrace turns enterprise AI's scale and complexity into actionable clarity with its advanced AI-powered observability," said Shashank Rajmane, Senior Manager and Principal Analyst, ISG.

"The company's innovation-first mindset continues to fortify its thought leadership, consistently redefining observability with breakthrough capabilities that help enterprises stay ahead of change. Delivering rich context-driven cloud-native security capabilities that allow it to detect and interpret risks in real-time, this ability to connect performance, UX and threat data gives it a distinct edge that helps serve large enterprises today."

Dynatrace said the ISG recognition covered multi public cloud environments. The company referenced partnerships with major cloud providers in its statement on the report's findings.

"We are honoured to be recognised as a Leader by ISG for the sixth consecutive year," said Tack.

"Our strong strategic partnerships with providers such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud are helping global enterprises gain deeper visibility into their cloud and AI workloads as observability complexity increases. This continued recognition of our ability to unify security and observability, empowered by recent agentic SRE integrations as dependency on AI grows, is something we're immensely proud of. We look forward to setting a new benchmark for cloud-native reliability as the year progresses."
