Delinea working with Microsoft for AI-powered cybersecurity solutions
Wed, 13th Dec 2023

Delinea, an industry-leading provider of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, has entered the Microsoft Security Copilot Partner Private Preview. The Australian and Singaporean company was chosen for its solid experience with Microsoft Security technologies, its readiness to test and offer feedback on developing functionalities, and a strong partnership with Microsoft.

Microsoft's Corporate Vice President for Security Business Development, Ann Johnson, highlighted the role of AI in cybersecurity. "AI is one of the defining technologies of our time and has the potential to drive meaningful, step-change progress in cybersecurity. Security is a team sport, and we are pleased to work alongside our Security Copilot partner ecosystem to deliver customers solutions that enhance cyber defences and make the promise of AI real," Johnson said.

Delinea's partnership role includes collaborating with Microsoft product teams to shape the Security Copilot product development. The firm will be instrumental in validating and refining new and upcoming scenarios, providing feedback on product development and operations for future incorporation, and validating API feedback for Security Copilot extensibility.

Bob Janssen, the Global Head of Innovation at Delinea, spoke on integrating AI for more robust cybersecurity. "Integrating AI is an imperative commitment for our customers as they strengthen their cyber resiliency. Our commitment to AI-powered cybersecurity is focused on architecting a future where security is as intelligent and dynamic as the threats it faces," said Janssen. He added that Delinea's alignment with Microsoft positions them as a strategic security partner that bridges PAM seamlessly into the Microsoft Security Copilot ecosystem.

The Microsoft Security Copilot is the first AI-powered security product enabling security professionals to react to threats swiftly, analyse signals at machine speed, and evaluate risk exposure in minutes. It merges a high-end large language model (LLM) with a security-specific model, guided by Microsoft's unique global threat intelligence and over 65 trillion daily signals.

With this pioneering technology, Delinea seeks to powerfully automate Privileged Access Management using AI, providing improved protection for clients and businesses alike. The company operates with the goal of defining access boundaries for thousands of global customers, from small businesses to major financial institutions, intelligence agencies, and critical infrastructure companies.
