CyberArk joins Microsoft Security Store to boost identity security
CyberArk has been included in the Microsoft Security Store Partner Ecosystem, enabling streamlined deployment and integration of pre-validated security solutions for customers.
CyberArk's selection for the ecosystem follows its experience with Microsoft Security technologies and a collaborative relationship with Microsoft. This partnership provides organisations with accelerated access to CyberArk's identity security platform through the Microsoft Security Store.
Partnership details
CyberArk is working closely with Microsoft by providing feedback on new features, integration experiences, and customer needs as the Microsoft Security Store develops. Part of this collaboration involves CyberArk publishing certified solutions and AI agents that work with Microsoft Security products, aiming to make it simpler for organisations to find, purchase, and deploy security technologies that have been vetted in advance.
Clarence Hinton, Chief Strategy Officer at CyberArk, commented on the development:
"CyberArk's participation in the Microsoft Security Store is a powerful step forward that helps organisations more easily find and use our unified, trusted identity security solutions. The Security Store's guided deployment and verified integrations minimise friction and accelerate time to value for organisations adopting our solutions. This collaboration highlights CyberArk's commitment to innovation and to protecting both people and machines across every IT environment."
The integration of CyberArk solutions with the Microsoft Security Store is expected to ease the operational burden on security teams by centralising resources and supporting guided deployment processes.
Product inclusion
As part of its offering in the Security Store, CyberArk makes its certified Endpoint Privilege Manager and Privileged Access Manager available. The pre-validation of these solutions is designed to support organisations seeking to align with industry frameworks and implement zero trust models in their environments.
Dorothy Li, Corporate Vice President, Security Copilot, Ecosystem and Marketplace at Microsoft, described the Security Store's broader purpose and benefits:
"The Microsoft Security Store is designed to simplify and strengthen how organisations approach cybersecurity. By offering a curated selection of trusted solutions and AI agents, we help Security and IT teams quickly find, purchase, and deploy technologies that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Security. With simplified billing, streamlined deployment, and verified integrations, the Security Store empowers defenders to accelerate their response, improve their security posture, and focus on what matters most."
Through features such as industry framework alignment and simplified billing, the Microsoft Security Store is intended to help organisations reduce the complexity typically associated with acquiring and implementing advanced cybersecurity tools.
Operational efficiencies
The Microsoft Security Store allows organisations to centralise their procurement and deployment of security technologies, making it easier to operationalise advanced cybersecurity solutions. The guided deployment features are tailored to assist security teams in moving from acquisition to active use with reduced timelines, while verified integrations seek to minimise interoperability issues.
CyberArk's participation in the ecosystem encourages the adoption of identity security controls that support zero trust and least privilege security models across IT environments. The ability to discover and deploy CyberArk's solutions from within the Security Store is intended to further assist organisations in managing both human and machine identities, and to improve overall visibility and risk reduction efforts.
The two companies will continue to collaborate on refining the Security Store and ensuring that the evolving needs of cybersecurity and IT teams are addressed through ongoing product feedback and co-development.
