CrowdStrike enhances Falcon with AI agent ecosystem & new features

Wed, 17th Sep 2025

CrowdStrike has introduced updates to its Falcon platform, including the launch of the Agentic Security Platform and multiple new AI-powered features aimed at advancing enterprise cybersecurity.

The company's new Agentic Security Platform is designed to give enterprises a unified AI-ready data layer, mission-ready agents, secure orchestration, and a dynamic user interface, according to CrowdStrike. The platform aims to support both human and machine defenders in addressing the growing complexity and speed of AI-driven threats.

George Kurtz, Chief Executive Officer and founder of CrowdStrike, commented on the developments, stating,

"The world is entering an arms race for AI superiority as adversaries weaponise AI to accelerate attacks. In the AI era, security comes down to three things: the quality of your data, the speed of your response, and the precision of your enforcement."

Platform features

The Falcon platform update introduces several new foundational elements. Enterprise Graph, described as the industry's richest AI-ready data layer, brings together CrowdStrike's graph technology and telemetry data from across enterprise environments. This data model is designed to be accessible through a single query language optimised for AI, enabling more immediate and actionable insights for security agents and analysts.

CrowdStrike reports that Enterprise Graph benefits from Onum's real-time streaming technology and is enriched with a large volume of expert analyst decisions from Falcon Complete Next-Gen MDR, adding depth to data-driven security operations.

Another key feature is Charlotte AI AgentWorks, a no-code platform that CrowdStrike claims allows teams to build, test, deploy, and orchestrate security agents using natural language rather than programming. This approach aims to lower the barrier to automation and ensure agents operate with Falcon's telemetry, intelligence, and governance controls in place. The introduction of the Agentic Security Workforce, a suite of pre-built agents for automating repetitive security tasks, forms part of this launch.

AI agent ecosystem

The Falcon platform now also acts as what CrowdStrike terms the operating centre of the agentic ecosystem. By leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the platform is intended to securely integrate CrowdStrike-supplied, customer-developed, and third-party AI agents into a coordinated defence system. Governance and safety are enforced through MCP, enabling collaboration and orchestration across IT and security domains.

A new user experience has been incorporated into the Falcon platform, featuring persona-aware consoles that offer role-specific workspaces, natural language capabilities, and dashboards for single-click actions. The aim is to consolidate information and simplify operations for security teams, facilitating faster, AI-driven decision-making.

Partnerships and acquisitions

CrowdStrike also announced expanded partnerships with NVIDIA and Salesforce. These collaborations are expected to embed Falcon's AI-driven security features more deeply into the broader enterprise AI ecosystem, although detailed terms have not been disclosed.

Additionally, CrowdStrike revealed plans to acquire Pangea, a specialist in AI security. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the platform's AI-related capabilities and support for operationalising AI at scale in security environments.

By integrating data, intelligence, agents, and governance, CrowdStrike stated its objective is to help organisations operationalise AI securely and effectively in response to increasingly sophisticated threats.
