Claroty named Gartner Leader again for CPS protection

Tue, 10th Mar 2026

Claroty has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPS Protection Platforms. This is the second consecutive year it has received the designation, and the report is in its second edition.

The Gartner assessment covers the CPS protection platform market, which focuses on securing cyber-physical systems used in industrial environments and critical infrastructure. Gartner notes the market is maturing and growing rapidly as threat actors increasingly target organisations where CPS are widespread. It also points to broader CPS deployment through automation and production transformation, which expands the attack surface.

Claroty operates in a segment of the cybersecurity market that has gained attention as manufacturers, utilities, transport operators and healthcare providers connect operational technology and specialised devices to enterprise networks. That shift has increased the need for asset visibility, remote access controls and monitoring in environments that often include legacy systems.

Platform scope

Claroty's offering includes Claroty xDome, which it describes as SaaS-powered, and Claroty Continuous Threat Detection, described as on-premise. It also sells Claroty xDome Secure Access, focused on remote connectivity into CPS environments. Claroty positions the combined products as a platform for security teams managing operational technology, internet-connected devices and other systems with physical-world impact.

The company says its approach is designed to close organisational and operational gaps between IT security teams and engineering or operations groups. Those divides have long been a theme in industrial cybersecurity, where tooling and governance often differ from enterprise IT practices.

Chief Executive Officer Yaniv Vardi linked the Gartner recognition to an evolving threat landscape.

"We're thrilled to once again be recognised as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPS Protection Platforms. We feel we have entered a new era of high-value targets for cyber attackers looking to disrupt the operations with the greatest impact on our daily lives, making it critical for CPS protection technologies to be held to the highest standard, and to be the most innovative and effective security solutions on the market."

Funding backdrop

Claroty is looking ahead with the backing of a recent USD $150 million Series F funding round. It says the investment supports its vision of building what it calls the industry's most comprehensive CPS protection platform, and that it will continue investing across its unified product set, including research and development and the adoption of AI within the platform.

Across industrial and critical infrastructure security, vendors have increasingly used machine learning for tasks such as identifying devices, modelling normal network behaviour and surfacing anomalous activity. These approaches can face data-quality challenges in heterogeneous environments, particularly where devices use proprietary protocols and operational constraints limit network changes.

Event demonstration

Claroty also referenced a recent demonstration at the S4 Conference in Miami, an annual event focused on industrial control systems security. In the event's PoC Pavilion, it showcased xDome's dynamic discovery in a test manufacturing environment and said it achieved the deepest asset visibility in that showcase.

Asset discovery remains a core issue for many operators of industrial networks and connected device estates. Large sites can include equipment installed over decades, with incomplete records, limited maintenance windows and a mix of managed and unmanaged network segments. These factors can complicate both risk assessment and incident response.

Remote access

Separately, Claroty says Gartner named it a Representative Vendor in the 2026 Gartner Market Guide for CPS Secure Remote Access. Gartner's description of the category highlights risks associated with inappropriate or malicious access to cyber-physical systems, including safety hazards, environmental damage and operational failure. It adds that CPS secure remote access products reduce risk by preventing abuse of remote connections and limiting users to the specific devices or applications required for their tasks.

Secure remote access has become a focal point for operators that rely on third-party maintenance, distributed engineering teams and vendor support. Remote connectivity can reduce downtime, but it also creates potential entry points for attackers, keeping the area under scrutiny from regulators and insurers.

Customer Reviews

Claroty also pointed to feedback on Gartner Peer Insights, saying it has a 4.9 out of 5 rating based on 119 ratings submitted in the last 12 months in the CPS Protection Platforms market, with a 97% "Would Recommend" score as of March 3, 2026. It cited several customer comments, including: "Claroty has proven to be one of our best tools in the cybersecurity stack. From day one, the implementation process was smooth and efficient, allowing us to hit the ground running without major hurdles. The platform itself is powerful, user-friendly, and consistently delivers value. Overall, Claroty has been a fantastic partner in our security efforts, and we're very pleased with the experience."

Gartner's Magic Quadrant research groups vendors into four categories: Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries and Niche Players. Claroty says its priorities for the year ahead include continued investment across its product set, alongside further work on AI adoption within the platform.
