Check Point to acquire Cyberint, enhancing SOC capabilities

Check Point Software Technologies has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Cyberint Technologies, a provider of External Risk Management solutions. This acquisition is expected to considerably enhance Check Point's Security Operations Center (SOC) capabilities and expand its managed threat intelligence services. Cyberint's advanced technologies will be integrated into the Check Point Infinity Platform for collaborative threat prevention and available as a managed service through Check Point Infinity Platform Services.

Founded in 2010, Cyberint has over 170 employees worldwide and is noted as one of the fastest-growing companies in the External Risk Management market. In 2023, Frost & Sullivan recognised Cyberint as 'Company of the Year' in the External Risk Mitigation and Management category. The company aims to protect against various security threats, including stolen employee credentials, fake websites, and social media impersonation. Its clientele includes several Fortune 500 companies.

Additionally, Cyberint is distinguished by its ability to deliver actionable intelligence within 20 minutes of setup, enabling security teams to respond promptly to threats. The company leverages AI-driven technology for risk detection and mitigation while delivering contextualised alerts with minimal false positives. Managed services enhance this approach by providing expert guidance and ensuring high-quality, comprehensive management.
