Check Point named leader in 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for email
Check Point has been positioned as a leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Email Security. The evaluation highlights the company's capabilities in core email protection, integrated email security, and outbound controls, delivered through its Harmony Email Collaboration product.
Email risk landscape
According to research from Check Point, 68% of cyber attacks begin with email, and 61% of harmful files are transmitted via HTML attachments.
The company's Harmony Email Collaboration leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to identify and block a range of threats before they reach users, including phishing attempts, malware, and business email compromise.
AI-powered solution
Harmony Email Collaboration uses AI algorithms for threat detection and prevention. It offers broad coverage for common business collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
Its API-based integration supports pre-delivery message scanning and aims to streamline deployment and manageability for organisations with large numbers of users.
An additional feature of the platform provides automated phishing simulations and security awareness training for users. According to the company, this requires minimal configuration and does not introduce problems with email deliverability.
Workspace coverage
The security product supports a range of collaboration tools beyond email, including Teams, Slack, OneDrive, and SharePoint. By consolidating multiple point security tools into a single platform, the company positions itself to help customers manage security risks more efficiently.
The solution also supports broader workspace protection, which Check Point regards as essential due to the integration of data centres, networks, cloud, and distributed work environments.
Customer feedback
"Harmony Email & Collaboration gives us peace of mind to operate securely, protecting against increasingly sophisticated attacks, including those driven by AI," said Marcos Alcantara, Cybersecurity Consultant, Telefonica. "It silently blocks advanced threats, enabling free collaboration and full focus on serving our customers. Today, it's indispensable for keeping our operations safe and agile as threats evolve every day."
Industry recognition
The Gartner Magic Quadrant for Email Security benchmarks vendors on their ability to execute and completeness of vision in email protection. Alongside this recognition, Check Point has also received recent acknowledgment in areas such as hybrid mesh firewall security.
Leadership perspective
"We are honored to be recognized once again as a Leader in Email Security," said Gil Friedrich, Chief Workspace Officer, Check Point Software. "As email continues to power daily business operations, and remains the #1 attack vector, we are committed to delivering innovative, trustworthy, and easy-to-use protections that leverage the most advanced AI technologies to secure our customers."
