Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., a top provider of global cybersecurity solutions, has been recognised as a leading vendor in the inaugural Radar for Cloud Network Security report by GigaOm. The report commends the advanced threat prevention capabilities and network security offered by Check Point's CloudGuard Cloud Network Security solution. This technology offers enhanced security measures that help to prevent cloud threats, thereby boosting confidence for businesses that are migrating their workloads to the cloud.

Having been experts in network security for three decades, Check Point has been assisting its customers with their transition to the cloud by providing top-notch threat prevention and cloud native application protection. "We're proud to be recognised as the Leader in GigaOm's first network security report for our industry-leading cloud network security capabilities for public, private, and hybrid-clouds," stated TJ Gonen, VP Cloud Security at Check Point Software.

The GigaOm report examines the technical capabilities of vendors, defines the market landscape and gauges their potential impact on businesses. It notably emphasises the critical role that the network plays as the first line of defence and the entry point for attackers. "Check Point is one of the only vendors featured in this Radar that delivers on all the capabilities described in the report. Their platform can provide true end-to-end network security for cloud environments," stated Andrew Green, a networking and security research analyst at GigaOm.

As cloud technologies continue to pervade, securing cloud infrastructure is a top priority for businesses. With cyberattacks on the rise, Check Point's 2023 Cloud Security Report underscores these ongoing concerns - 76% of respondents reported extreme or significant concern regarding cloud security. This report recognises Check Point's cloud solutions for providing reliable security across hybrid, public, or private cloud environments, including unified security management for on-premises networks.

Check Point was awarded top scores for overall evaluation and also for the metrics of Extensibility and Interoperability, Ease of Use, DevSecOps Suitability and Partner Ecosystem, in the GigaOm report. The acknowledgement from GigaOm attests to Check Point's commitment to providing strong security solutions tailored to the needs and complexities of modern cloud-based businesses, ensuring both their confidence and safety in a landscape fraught with cyber threats.
