Borderless CS unveils AUD $5,000 flat fee for cybersecurity tests
Borderless CS has announced a flat-fee cybersecurity assessment offer for a limited number of organisations, designed to simplify costs and expand access to comprehensive security services.
Flat fee initiative
The company, based in Australia and focused solely on cybersecurity, is offering a complete Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for a fixed fee of AUD $5,000, excluding GST. The offer, available from 1 to 30 September 2025, is limited to the first 50 customers. The intention is to remove common financial barriers that organisations face when seeking thorough security assessments.
Many customers in the cybersecurity domain find that VAPT engagements often involve complex pricing structures, fees based on the number of assets assessed, and sometimes hidden charges. This sometimes discourages comprehensive testing or forces companies to make budget-driven compromises regarding the scope of their assessments.
Scope of the offer
The Borderless CS offer includes several service elements designed to cover a broad range of IT infrastructure and potential vulnerability surfaces within an organisation's environment. The assessment consists of a full On-Prem Infrastructure Assessment, covering firewalls, switches, servers, and endpoints; a Complete Cloud Security Assessment across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments; unlimited web application security assessments to check for common vulnerabilities; and unlimited testing of public IP addresses.
All assessments within the package are carried out without restrictions in terms of the number of web applications or external-facing assets covered, ensuring a holistic view of a client's potential risk exposure. This approach is intended to eliminate fragmentary assessments driven by budget limitations, providing organisations with a true sense of their overall security status.
Founder's perspective
"Your infrastructure deserves expert protection - without the bloated price tag," the founder states. "For too long, businesses have had to choose between thorough security and fiscal responsibility. We're eliminating that choice. This offer is about making elite-level security tangible for a wider range of organisations, proving that you can have both comprehensive coverage and cost-effectiveness."
The company has stated that this all-inclusive initiative stems from the founder's principle that security should not require a cost-quality compromise and that expert, comprehensive protection must be accessible for organisations of different sizes and sectors.
Operational model and assurances
Borderless CS delivers all its cybersecurity services through Australian-based consultants only, without relying on any offshore teams. The intent is to ensure strong familiarity with Australia's regulatory environment, including compliance with standards such as GDPR and APRA, while also aiming to guarantee high levels of accountability and client communication.
The team holds advanced industry certifications, including CREST accreditation, and the organisation itself meets ISO 27001:2022, ISO 9001:2015, and SOC 2 Type II standards. These credentials are frequently cited as key indicators of quality and best practice in the cyber assessment field.
The company's current offerings extend beyond VAPT, incorporating Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), and Managed Security Operations services. According to the company, its service model avoids diluted generalist approaches in favour of specialist knowledge and application.
Intended audience
The flat-fee offer is being positioned as suitable for a varied customer base. Examples cited include technology startups experiencing rapid growth, established enterprises testing new cloud environments, and public sector entities requiring robust analysis without drawn-out procurement procedures.
The company considers the Founder's Month offer more than a simple promotion, interpreting it as a practical demonstration that high-quality cybersecurity need not be inaccessible due to cost or complexity. By offering a single, predictable pricing model, the initiative is intended to lower the threshold for organisational engagement with cyber risk management practices.
Borderless CS has stated that demand is expected to be high due to the limited availability, with only the first 50 organisations able to take up the flat rate during the campaign period.
