BeyondTrust appoints Felix Gaehtgens as Vice President of Product Strategy

BeyondTrust has appointed Felix Gaehtgens, formerly a Gartner analyst, as Vice President, Product Strategy.

Gaehtgens joins BeyondTrust following 13 years at Gartner, where he was widely regarded as an expert in identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), and machine IAM. His background in shaping industry perspectives and advising enterprise CISOs worldwide is cited by the company as a key factor in his appointment.

In his new position, Gaehtgens will lead BeyondTrust's strategic product vision and drive innovation across its portfolio. A significant part of his remit will be enhancing the company's ability to secure machine identities, DevOps, APIs, and AI agents through modern approaches. His leadership is expected to empower customers to strengthen their security posture and reduce organisational risk.

BeyondTrust stated that Gaehtgens's insights, especially regarding machine IAM, API security, and developing infrastructure practices, will support the firm in seizing emerging market opportunities.
