Barracuda updates BarracudaONE to speed email threat response for MSPs

Barracuda has announced enhancements to its BarracudaONE platform aimed at supporting Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in improving security, operational efficiency, and scalability across multi-tenant environments.

Email threat management

One of the central updates to BarracudaONE is the introduction of bulk remediation for email threats. With this capability, MSPs can now address email risks across all customer environments simultaneously, which the company states can accelerate response times by up to ten times. This rapid response aims to reduce threat exposure and the likelihood of incident escalation. It also supports more consistent protection across client environments, strengthening overall client trust while also reducing operational overhead for MSPs.

Automation for billing and invoicing

BarracudaONE now features expanded integration with six major professional services automation (PSA) platforms: Autotask by Datto, ConnectWise PSA, HaloPSA, Kaseya BMS, Pulseway PSA, and Syncro. This allows MSPs to automate their billing and invoicing processes across all customer environments, helping to eliminate manual data entry and reduce errors. The improvements are intended to accelerate revenue cycles and uphold billing accuracy while enabling MSPs to maintain established workflows and minimise potential disputes.

The company says these integrations reflect the open architecture of the BarracudaONE platform and support more streamlined and efficient financial management for MSPs.

Centralised management and reporting

By unifying its solutions into one platform, BarracudaONE enables MSPs to manage security solutions, accounts, licences, and responses to threats from a single dashboard. This centralisation, according to the company, is further reinforced by its integration with the Barracuda MSP application. Enhanced automation, natural language queries, and intelligent reporting are now part of the platform, designed to make account management more straightforward, reduce the need for context switching between tools, and improve productivity for service providers.
