Barbara Larson joins SentinelOne as Chief Financial Officer

SentinelOne has announced the appointment of Barbara Larson as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Larson will be responsible for all facets of the company’s global financial operations, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, taxation and treasury, investor relations, and internal audits. Dave Bernhardt will continue to serve as an advisor until the end of the calendar year to ensure a seamless transition.

Larson brings over 25 years of experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) financial operations management and leadership. She aims to support SentinelOne’s growth and profitability as the company progresses into its next phase. Prior to joining SentinelOne, Larson was the Chief Financial Officer at Workday, where she contributed to scaling the business to USD $6 billion in annualised revenues with 20% non-GAAP operating margins. Her responsibilities included overseeing the company’s finance and accounting functions, tax and treasury, investor relations, and internal audit, alongside advising on business strategy and product development. Larson has also held financial leadership roles at VMware, TIBCO Software, and Symantec.
