AUCloud expands senior team following key cyber acquisitions
AUCloud has announced the expansion of its Senior Leadership Team. This follows the firm's recent acquisition of three cyber security businesses. The new leadership team has been hailed as a significant stepping stone that will boost AUCloud's cyber security solutions substantially.
Joshua Mann, with over two decades of executive experience, joins AUCloud as the new Chief Operating Officer. His career, devoted to maturing businesses for sustainable growth, particularly in high-growth technology and services businesses, makes him ideally suited for AUCloud's mission in the digitally challenged era.
David Milin, Founder and Managing Director of the recently acquired PCG Cyber, has been appointed as AUCloud's Head of Cyber Security. Having over 20 years of experience in government and commercial sectors where he specialised in Governance, IT operations, risk management, and cybersecurity consulting, he gets on board to steer the ship against cyber threats.
Furthermore, Geoff Hughes, who was the Founder and Managing Director of Venn, another recent acquisition of AUCloud, will now be serving as the General Manager of South Australia and Queensland at AUCloud. His heightened focus on customer service and his ability to identify and exploit business opportunities will prove beneficial in his new role.
AUCloud CEO and Managing Director, Peter Maloney, acknowledged these new appointments as the ignition required for supercharging their cyber security solutions. "Following the acquisition of three strategically aligned businesses, we have established a new leadership team that will advance our cyber security services and lead us towards greater growth," said Maloney. He further added how cyber security being a complex, challenging and growing space, necessitates the expertise of the newly appointed leaders to navigate this expanding sector.
Maloney pointed out Australia's growing concerns about data sovereignty, cyber security attacks, and privacy. He believes AUCloud's bolstered leadership will bring the additional skills and capabilities in alignment with growth required for these challenging times. Speaking about the company's future, Maloney said, "As an expanded senior leadership team, we look forward to strengthening our sovereign cloud, cyber security, and resilience services so that the nation's data and security systems are safe, efficient and effective."
The newly infused talent into AUCloud's Senior Leadership Team is expected to enhance the firm's services, while stepping in line with its growth-oriented vision. It remains a crucial step-up moment for AUCloud as it broadens its horizon in addressing the crucial cybersecurity needs in the digitally transformational era.
