Arctic Wolf launches new threat intelligence module update

Today

Arctic Wolf has announced the expansion of the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform with the addition of a new threat intelligence module.

The Australian company has unveiled the Arctic Wolf Threat Intelligence, a module designed to provide organisations with access to real-time threat intelligence and curated reports. This update aims to assist businesses in staying ahead of threats by utilising the insights that power one of the largest commercial Security Operations Centres (SOCs) globally.

According to Arctic Wolf, the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform, enhanced by Alpha AI, seeks to offer effective security operations for organisations facing cybersecurity risks that are directly linked to business risks.

The integration of advanced AI and machine learning algorithms enables scalable and automated threat detection and remediation. Coupled with Arctic Wolf's Concierge Delivery Model and Security Journey, the platform aims to reduce cyber risk, allowing companies to concentrate on their business objectives.

"The Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform and Alpha AI stand out in the industry for their unparalleled power and scale, processing over seven trillion events each week to deliver the unique insights on the threat landscape that are exclusive to Arctic Wolf," said Dan Schiappa, Chief Product and Services Officer at Arctic Wolf.

"Arctic Wolf Threat Intelligence doesn't just deliver raw data; it transforms vast, complex sets of information into actionable, prioritised insights that are uniquely collected from the more than 6,200 customers that Arctic Wolf protects each day," he added.

"By giving organisations access to the same intelligence trusted by Arctic Wolf, we can now empower security teams around the world to better anticipate, adapt, and respond to the rapidly evolving tactics of modern threat actors."

Increasing cyber threats present a challenge to organisations, as threat actors continuously develop innovative attack methods. Security teams need more than generic threat feeds, instead requiring prioritised intelligence insights to handle pressing risks efficiently. Arctic Wolf Threat Intelligence intends to address these needs.

The new module allows organisations to utilise the threat intelligence that informs Arctic Wolf's SOC operations.

This intelligence is drawn from an extensive dataset of over 500,000 daily malware samples and more than 125,000 monthly SOC investigations, which span numerous threat surfaces, industries, and geographic regions.

Features of the Arctic Wolf Threat Intelligence module include Threat Pulse, which provides curated insights on active threat campaigns and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) through reports and video highlights.

Intelligence Feeds offer IoC lists designed for seamless integration into firewalls and endpoint block/allow lists. IOC QuickLinks is another feature enabling organisations to search their environments swiftly using Arctic Wolf Data Explorer, simplifying threat validation processes.
