Zyxel Networks launches AI-driven security tool SecuPilot

Zyxel Networks has introduced SecuPilot, an AI assistant feature within its SecuReporter Cloud Analytics Service, designed to help IT professionals quickly identify and respond to security threats.

SecuPilot, which utilises advanced generative AI, provides actionable network insights, allowing users to effectively navigate the increasing volumes of complex data logs and security threats. The feature enhances the ability of network administrators to analyse and correlate security data efficiently through natural conversations, eliminating the need for manual data processing.

The AI-powered assistant simplifies the analysis and interpretation of network security data, converting complex information into understandable and actionable insights. Users of SecuReporter can inquire about specific system alerts, network activities, or other security events and receive immediate responses in formats including text, graphs, or tables. This adaptability allows administrators to select the most suitable method for their needs, which is particularly beneficial for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and managed service providers (MSPs) lacking dedicated cybersecurity resources.

SecuPilot supports a diverse range of chart formats such as trend lines, bar, column, pie, and grid charts. These visual tools assist in providing a clearer and more comprehensive understanding of the security dynamics within a network. The data can be easily downloaded or exported for further analysis, ensuring users have the necessary resources to make informed decisions and take prompt actions.

This feature is equipped with contextual awareness and multi-language support, comprehending sequences and contexts of questions in over 40 languages. It helps administrators to handle network security data efficiently, making insights accessible even to those with limited IT expertise.

For organisations with compliance and audit obligations, SecuReporter includes a one-click log export feature, offering up to one year of historical data. This facilitates quick responses to requests from entities like financial regulators or law enforcement agencies, streamlining the compliance process. SecuReporter's OpenAPI support further enhances integration capabilities, allowing its security data to be seamlessly incorporated into existing third-party management tools, thereby improving workflow efficiency.

SecuPilot is currently available as part of the SecuReporter service and comes with specific licenses for USG FLEX and ATP firewall series. A demo version of SecuPilot can also be accessed through the SecuReporter platform.
